If we can catch Leeds somehow, think we'll be alright. Thought they looked as bad as we did against Fulham. Bit more craft maybe, but weaker defensively. Their keeper is really struggling as well

Looking at the last 6 I’ve got us on 34 which is a point a game

Newcastle 1
Brighton 0
Leicester 1
City 0
Wolves 1
Bournemouth 3

…..surely posters know by this stage that predictions and forecasts are totally useless. It really doesn’t matter what we think, it doesn’t matter what scenarios posters imagine, results at this stage are totally unpredictable.

It doesn’t matter who we play, we just need enough points to survive. I have no idea if that will be the case.

Certain facts are in play

1 win in 9 with the lowest goals total in English leagues means it’s reasonable to suggest we will struggle to win more than one of the last 6 for example.

Incorporating that knowledge into a prediction (which I have) does not leave that prediction as ‘totally useless’ as you seem to think

Best of luck with that. I expect Newcastle to win, and I expect Leicester to beat Leeds but I think it is about 50/50 between u and Leeds for the drop

Leicester are in no way shape or form out of this. They've just won their first game in 12 today. I believe Leeds will, at least take a point there.

A bouncing Goodison, some noise cancelling earphones and lip reading training for JP and minimum 2 key players back and I think we can get something on Thursday

You cant say that mate. We did second best this weekend out of all the teams you mentioned there, but the Death Cult says we have to take a draw away from home as a defeat and a sign of certain relegation...because we dropped into the bottom 3 on GD...but having closed the gap on Leeds and stretched it on Forest.

Whaa Whaa Whaa Whaa!!!!!!
The reality is we need to take a balanced view….did I expect Southampton to get anything out of Arsenal. No - but they got a point. I did not expect us to get anything so getting a point maintains the distance with one game less to go, and wasn’t sure about Leicester so our result purely in isolation is decent, but when another team leap frogs you, it is cause for concern especially when you drop into the bottom three with only six games to go. I think other teams have wins in them far more than we do if we continue to be the lowest scorers in the country, so we need DCL to stay fit and we need Doucoure and Onana in the team staying fit, but it’s too close to call now and really for the first time since Dyche has come in, I am doubtful we can do it but we shall see.

I love your positivity Dave. Form would suggest wins for Leicester and Newcastle but you manage to find a way to see a positive for Everton. As I said last week, I think a point to Palace, a loss to Toon, and a win against Leicester and I think you guys have a chance of doing it. I thnk Saints and Forest will be joined by either Leeds or Everton in the Championship. With a bit of luck u guys will do it
Did you see Arsenal drawing with S'ton? Everton beating Arsenal?

We need The Duke back, our form and performances have taken a nose dive to Lampard levels without him.

I’ll feel better with Coleman and Onana back also.

We were lucky to get out of their with anything today.
