I think we got relegated when they kept Lampard on for 3 months longer than they should have done when it was already blatantly obvious he had to be removed or we would be in serious trouble i.e 12th November 2022.
May have been financial....

Let’s get it right, we have had numerous managers who have been unable to do anything with the playing squad (admittedly even though personnel has changed slightly over the years) - one of the greatest managers of all time, could only reach 11th with a fully fit and firing DCL, accompanied by Richarlison, Digne, and a part time James, so whilst it was negligent to not fire Lampard sooner, and whilst Dyche hasn’t set the world alight, it’s incredibly difficult to polish and roll in glitter the turd that is our squad….this problem has built up over four or five years through poor player purchases

Newcastle putting 5 past Spurs like its just a training session and people still think we might get something on Thursday. Just as if. lol

Time for people to come to terms with what is coming. This team haven't got a win in them now no matter who they play.

I think we got relegated when our incompetent director of football sold Richarlison, did not have a suitable replacement lined up, nor found a suitable player fill DCL absence. He then allowed us to enter as season with Gray Gordon McNeil and Iwobi as our goal threats.

Lampard was dreadful and should have went earlier, but if even with him we wouldn’t have been anywhere near this situation. The lack of goals and threat have seen us off
And then sold Gordon in January without a replacement….regardless of what I thought of him, he was an additional attacker we needed given the strength of the squad

The 'Bournemouth week' relegated us - It was as clear as day that a change needed to be made immediately
And based on what since then would things have been any better? It is a very real possibility we don’t get another win this season leaving Dyche likely with a worse record than Lampard and that was with the benefit of the bounce at the start. I think it will be far easier at the end of the season that we would have been better with Lampard and Danjuma coming in than Dyche.

May have been financial....
Probably mate but lets be honest, Lampard did that bad that they could have actually not even replaced him and we may have done better. He had only won 3 all season and never won another game under him after the Bournemouth double tonking.
