In regards to what I said about Brighton losing the way they did yesterday, causing their confidence to be shot to pieces for the rest of the season, allowing us to have a good chance to take advantage when we play them..... I was only being optimistic for once after my recent defeatist post saying we are gone.

If we go down though, I won't be too overly surprised but I'll also be gutted.

The lowest scoring team gets relegated. Last time that didn't happen was 2011-12 and Villa scored 37 to be the lowest scoring team. This team is on pace to finish below 30 goals which is beyond a joke.
Can't argue with those stats.
I hope Tarkowski has wound our forwards up with his comments about them to put chances away when they arrive.

The Leicester game is huge here. We are up against a side with one win in how many?
Imperative not to lose that one.
The Leicester game now assumes the mantle of our next pivotal fixture. Just do not lose.
Almost a year after our visit to them last season. Oh for a repeat of the result and the scenes of our away following belting out Spirit of the Blues. What a way to end a Bank Holiday

Still think Bournemouth could get dragged back in it, tough set of fixtures for them
My repeated feeling that our fixture against Bournemouth on the last day of the season will determine our status, still stands.
If so it'll take me back to 1986 on our last fixture when the League Championship was the prize.
How things change.
