Could end up resulting in one of the biggest mass shake-ups in the clubs history.

Imagine being relegated and then, in the summer, the board are replaced and the squad gets a mass culling in one fell swoop..
Maybe we'll finally get to the bottom of why Kenwright is still here if Moshiri is forced to sell.

Although, I'm fully expecting a continuation of this absentee owner and board dynamic even if we do go down.

Monday night we will know if the situation is critical with Leeds and Forest playing before us.

Hopefully Bournemouth (Leeds) and Brentford (Forest) get wins.

I have half an eye on West Ham, 2 games in hand against Palace (A) and Man City (A) but still 6 points ahead of us.

Let's face it guys, you were NEVER going to get anything out of last night. Newcastle are flying at the minute and look set for a champions league spot, which is well deserved in my opinion.
I've looked at the games that the teams at the bottom have left.
I truly believe that you can survive, picking up points against Bournemouth, Wolves and Leicester. Lose against Leicester and I can't see how you're getting out of this.
One thing I noticed last night was a thunderous start but with little quality in the final third but the effort was there. I know that Gray is a bit lightweight but I think he needs to start. I don't see many other attacking options, so play him, giving you another option. DCL now needs to show his worth and bully defenders. It's a scrap from now until the end of the season and heads cannot drop if you go 1 down. Dyche just needs to drill this into all his players, apart from Coleman. It's a shame you've not got 10 of him.
As for Pickford, I can't understand why some on here are knocking him. You'd have been relegated weeks ago if it wasn't for him.
Anyway, dust yourselves down for Monday and I hope you get the results you need. As a Stoke fan, I simply cannot imagine Everton in the championship. Many Stoke fans on our forum (The Oatcake) are gunning for you.
We can’t win away from home, we get beat by Leicester and City will destroy us and that will be that. Brighton away will also be a loss

Highly doubt we can get anywhere near West Ham. We're going to struggle to get 4 points never mind more than 6. We need Leeds and Forest to lose basically every game.

I have calmed down a little from yesterday. Just feel like there is no hope. If we have any chance this team has one leader one player who does give his all and that’s Coleman. if we have any chance we will need him back for the last 5 games.

Dave, you're in denial. This board is going nowhere. They are prepared to fire-bomb their own fanbase to defend their untenable positions.

How long did it take Kenwright to "see a sale" the last time? And what happened? He STILL cemented his toxic culture into the walls of the club.

You've fought the good fight - but this boat is sinking. Don't be the conductor of the orchestra while the life boats are being lowered and the Jumbotron happy-clappers are putting on their wigs and lipsticks to ensure they get away unscathed.
Even then, it only happened because Philip Green had to dump his assets and with them the pretence that Earl owned a chunk of the club. That led to enough money coming in via Usmanov/Moshiri to kick the can down the road a few years, but where we are now is the inevitable conclusion of the job Kenwright started 20-odd years ago.

We're back to exactly where we were in between Royle and Moyes, hovering over the abyss, waiting for our luck to run out.

This has been coming for a few years. At some point or another during the course of every season or so, dating back to Martinez’s second season, we’ve been under some kind of threat of relegation. Always banking on the fact that “there’s three worse teams than us”. But eventually, those worse teams either fall away or strengthen. We’ve done neither. In fact, we’ve got progressively worse.

There can be no complaints if we go this year.
That's simply not true.

We've had a real relegation threat only last season and this for the last 24 years.

It was never ever on the cards we'd be relegated under Martinez. He left us in 12th place.

First half was ok but you could see Godfrey was completely lost (from my viewpoint culpable for first goal) and all they needed to do was target our right side - which they did for another 3 goals. He really can't play that position - if Dyche persists with it we are done.

I know Keane isn't popular on here, but he's a better defender than Godfrey full stop and helped him a lot first half.

I can see on another thread people moaning about Mykolenko but our left was far more secure and at least he knows how to close down and defend.

We evidently have a team with weaknesses to be exploited - and not enough goals to make up for it. KITAP1

They can't give up though, at least put up a fight for the remaining games.

Yep. Ive not questioned dyche much because he's walked into a sh!t show. But in game management last night was shocking and a concern. Thats where you earn your money. Seeing and changing something before it happens. He had lots of defensive options on the bench.
Poor. Really poor to just let the inevitable happen.

I’m not pinning this on Martinez mate. I’m saying the signs were there at the time.

There’s no way we’ve gone through about a dozen managers in such a short space of time without being under some kind of threat.

The fact is every season or 2, at some point we slip dangerously close to the relegation spots, sack the manager, get an uplift for a bit and then rinse and repeat.

You circle the drain long enough and you’re going to get sucked down.
