Lose to Leicester and it will be done, can’t see us jumping above 2 teams. Puts Leicester 4 ahead and minimum of 2 behind Leeds and forest. With 2 games that we won’t win in City and Brighton.. looking really really bad
Lose to Leicester and I think we’d need to get something against city and or Brighton…

but I guess Leicester are in the same boat really

I see Keown has slated the fans for leaving early at 3-1 saying the fans jacked it in and gave up. What an absolute cheek, the fans were brilliant and got let down yet again, why should they stay just to witness a hammering. Cheeky get, peed me off that.
With all due respect, your comment is agreeing that the fans gave up, you are simply justifying why they gave up.

Not relevant to my post, I’m not talking about us overtaking West Ham.
Yes it is for us to overtake West Ham we need to win 2 games and then getting 0 points, Everton won’t win 2 games and then u got goal difference, which is an extra point straight away

That requires 2 wins 1 draw and West Ham to lose all 5

What are you on about lol

West Ham play Leeds and Leicester in their last two games. I’m talking about wanting them to need points and not be mentally absent when playing those matches, to hopefully help us catch those teams.

I said nothing about catching West Ham.

Could really do with a Palace win.

They could feasibly lose City away United home and Brentford away, if they go into Leeds and Leicester on 34 points Moyes will be right on it.
Yeah we need West Ham to lose so they have to turn up in the two games they have left against Leeds and Leicester, if they win today it won't help us

The fans are emotionally exhausted, last season was horrendous and we dragged them over the line. On Thursday our fans got there 2 hours early to greet the coach, we have sold out every single away game again despite winning 3 away in 35 and you have Keown having a pop at fans for walking out at 1-4 when we have scored over one goal at Goodison once all season. It’s a tone deaf comment from him. Of all the things “an expert” should be talking about at the club, and there are millions of problems as we are clearly in crisis, fans walking out ten minutes to go really isn’t an issue.

Strange comment. Very strange.

Now I understand why Keown was twatted by Sheedy. Makes sense…

Spot on there. A safe West Ham going into Leeds and Leicester with a potential European final to play isn't what we need.

I think I’ve accepted it now. I think the players accepted it on Thursday.
The players accepted what? That we got beat by 3rd in the league who are flying. Come on. It’s these type of comments that do my head in, if we stay up you will be first to say, I knew we would stay up.
