Wow, Iwobi is by no means a top player, but calling him a chancer and a coward?

I didn't watch last nights game, but whenever I have seen Iwobi he is always looking for the ball, always trying to do something with it (often unsucessfully granted), and no matter what happens he is always trying to make himself available to his team mates.

If you are looking for someone that spends the whole game hiding, you have definitely picked the wrong guy for that.
I agree, he always looks for the ball doesn't go hiding and could of very easily last night when he made the error leading to their goal, yes it was an awful mistake, but the lad never gave up and scored a great goal and apart from that fantastic save in the 1st half he would of had 2

I think leicester stay up even after watching them last night. The goal difference they have is better than the rest. They are crap and they have a PE teacher managing them.

Everyone has sort of written off getting any points against Brighton so would be good if we could get a point atleast. Somehow.

Throw every man behind the ball, and go 5-4-1 or 5-3-2 is our best hope there i think.

The way we ship goals, we’d have to rely on scoring more than once, which we rarely do.

Getting something from Brighton is a lot more realistic than City, but still don’t fancy it.

Just very daunting knowing we may need maximum points from the remaining games to stay up, a draw from the next two means we can possibly try to survive with 5 points.

I've never written off Brighton. I have always believed it was an opportunity for points. Maybe it's an age thing, but I have never looked at Brighton and Hove Albion as anything other than a plucky yo-yo club who we regularly swat aside. They're having a great season and are superbly managed as a club. But, Lads. It's Brighton.
Who are far far ahead of us both on and off the field

I get it but hope the players don’t treat it like that and think they can show up and roll over Brighton due to their name.

I actually think it’s a good time to play them. They will be getting abit nervous with the chance of european football. Bit more pressure on them than a month or two ago. We have a full week of recovery and they play Thursday against United.
Yeah they where really nervous on the weekend when they scored 6

That’s why it was a huge 2 points dropped.

Started off pressing relentlessly, and winning every second ball, and they weren’t up for it.

Every long ball their defenders didn’t know what to do. Panicking every time.

That said, they still had the pace on the counter and there’s still some quality in there in Vardy, Maddison and Barnes.
Their run in, is a bit like ours, but will Liverpool be on the beach? Their final game, how up for it will West Ham be? Especially if their next game is a cup final.

I’m struggling to see how we can get 6 points, so to finish above Leicester we’d need to get 2 points more than them due to Goal Difference.
Aye, they are a really poor and very meek team. It was there for us, that was the game.

Felt like it before, but I think i over estimated Leicester based on their game against Leeds, and the actually decent attacking options. Guess the sweetener there is Leeds must really be bad to make Leicester look that good.

They were so poor, and we never took our chance there. Rode our luck at times, but the failure to make any subs when it mattered I think could be costly.

Going into Wolves, Bournemouth needing 4 points is a lot nicer than needing 6, which I think is where we’re going to be at.

People will be saying things like “But Lads. It’s Everton” before too long, if they’re not saying it already.

I thought Leeds v Leicester looked two really poor sides, but was surprised at just how soft Leicester looked. Of course their terrible keeper has a worldie against us, but as you say a sub like gray in the last 10 could have put us over the line. Or just not picking Keane

Wow really? Their stats at home a scary. Average 35 shots at goal. Other week every single outfield players had two attempts at goal. Now put michael keane in front of them.

gotta be honest the but lads its brighton comment is staggeringly flippent.

It will be a low points total that keeps 17th up, no teams getting cut away at crimbo means the points have been spread about more. Extremely doubtful we can get there though, I think we beat Bournemouth if DCL is still breathing by then. Can we beat wolves or Brighton? Or draw both?
