Everton, with 2 wins away last season, and just 1 win away this season.

Everton, lowest scorers in the league and probably English professional football.

Next 3 games, 2 away vs teams with excellent home form/who very rarely concede at home and Man City.

Brighton Away - this is their home league form in 2023.
3-0 Win vs Liverpool
1-0 Win vs Bournemouth
1-0 Defeat vs Fulham
4-0 Win vs West Ham
1-0 Win vs Crystal Palace
3-3 Draw vs Brentford
6-0 Win vs Wolves

Then Man City at Goodison.

Then;
Wolves Away - this is their home league form in 2023
2-0 Win vs Crystal Palace
2-0 Win vs Brentford
1-0 Win vs Chelsea
2-4 Defeat vs Leeds
1-0 Win vs Tottenham
3-0 Win vs Liverpool
1-0 Win vs West Ham

I find it hard to believe we're in contention come Bournemouth.

I think we CAN stay up but I'm not supremely confident. To be honest I'd put our chances at about 30%. Not beating Fulham is the one that will do us I think.
However there are still 12 points to play for . Whilst logic says we will get nothing against Brighton and City , you just don't know , strange results happen at the back end of the season.
Unfortunately that's also applicable to the other teams around us

At least we showed spirit , fight and some attacking intent last night.

You're probably right. To prevent the Bournemouth game being irrelevant we need 4 points from Brighton , Wolves and City . It's a tough ask and unlikely, but who knows?

We played well and we could have won the game. I just feel like we needed to win. I still think it’s likely we drop. if we had won tonight we would have been out of the relegation zone with 2 hard games coming but the teams around us playing catch up. As it is we are still in the relegation zone with 2 hard games and the teams around us aren’t playing catch up. Somehow if we get through these 2 games still one point from safety. I will start to believe we will stay up.

No we dont. The only game I can see being a win for either Leeds or Forest is Forest's next game, and I have doubts they'll get a win.

The inability of our opponents to save themselves has been underlined countless times.

B'mouth will still be a live fixture for us. The only thing to be determined is whether we're in control of our own destiny on that day. To do that we need a win from the next 3.

In a month's time, when we look back on this calamitous season, we will be telling ourselves that we knew we were relegated not when we were mathematically down, but when our fans quaked in their boots and waved the white flag at the mere mention of Brighton and Hove Albion.
Most knew we were relegated when we started the season with by far the worst attack in the league and didn’t do anything to rectify the issue in January apart from sell one of our attackers.

Last night was our most winnable fixture for what we had left. Kinda not thinking we'll get another 3pts this season.

Said this after the Newcastle game mate, however Dyche let us down last night we could have went for that they where on the ropes.

I think we are done personally.

Hard to see anything else at the moment.

To be honest we have needed a miracle, since keeping Lampard to long, his results and effect on an already fragile squad mentality meant we we were half way beat before most games.
The fact we didn't bring a forward on either the start of the season or more importantly the Jan window, meant I thought we had made us certs yo go down.
The board are squarly to blame .
I have been disappointed with Dyche to be honest, but let's not forget how bad this squad has proved over the last two years and it been made even worse by the board this season, if and its a big if we stay up , he will have done a decent job.

The 3 points we got with (mostly late) equalisers against Chelsea, Spurs and Leicester will be crucial.

Those points will keep us up.

Forest and Leeds would have lost all 3 of those matches.

I guarantee if we'd been beaten last minute last night the people on here today saying a point wasn't enough would have been saying a point would have kept us right in the fight.

We went to an away match and got more out of it than the vast majority thought we would. That is a good result in anyone's estimation.

If we do that a couple of more times we'll be over the line.
