Mitoma and Estupinan will gobble up our right back.
We will need total defense to have a chance.
A point would be fine.
Dunk and Webster will be quite happy with the ball in the air.
They have total superiority.
We'll need luck.
Estupinian was caught in possession half dozen times against Forest before De Zerbi hooked him, likewise Dunk and Colwill take far too many chances.
Forest pressed them heavily and they were caught out numerous times, its whether or not Dyche has the balls to go away from home and try and get at them rather than lying in and hoping.
Also, they had zero up top (Welbeck was on the bench).
But they keep the ball for fun and never stop moving, can see our guys getting passed to death tbh.
Imo we need go at them from the 1st minute and try and disrupt, Patterson will need help with Mitoma so likely offer Iwobi as cover, pray to God we don't put Goofrey against him or we can write off the fixture all together.
And we need to find a way of getting Gray onto the pitch at some point if we want to start trying to win games again.

Do Brighton have any speed merchants because if so we can probably consider ourselves 1 down already. I think we can get at them though, and a point is definitely not out of scope. We've plenty of time to prepare for the game and they play this Thursday against United, and then us on Monday, so you cannot deny there is a slight advantage in our favour there already.
Mitoma and Estupinian up against Patterson and Keane(unbelieveably) on that side is a scary thought
The problem is they are brilliant at passing through the press so I doubt we'll be able to play as aggressively as last night

I think we will be gone along with Leeds and forest.

I think leicester will stay up, I think saints will win their next 2 v forest and Fulham and then just about stay up.

Southampton need 3 wins from 4 to have any chance.

They are already 5 points behind us. I think their chances are now as slim as it gets.

With 20/25 minutes to go I was screaming at him to make a sub but to be fair to him the way the game panned out I can see why he didn't. I thought they were running out of legs but they came back strong after that and any sub would have just been a roll of the dice rather than an injection of quality so it's a bit of a coin toss for me.

I was similar calling for a sub.

Looking back on it though they weren’t really causing us problems and we had chances. If Docuoure’s goes in we win.

Looking at the possible subs, if he’d swapped Gray for any of the three behind the striker and he’d let a man run off him (which he is prone to do) and we conceded then we’re effectively down.

If Simms comes on for Doucoure and all of a sudden Tielemans is running the show and it’s wave after wave of pressure and we concede then we’re down.

Davies - he’s slower than all the midfielders and very untidy on the ball. Is he going to score the winner?

I just think given the balance of play at the time we didn’t look like conceding, and looked the more likely for a winner. Changing that when your options are so poor might have gone badly. There’ll be a time for going completely for broke but there’s still 4 games to play so perhaps it wasn’t last night against our direct relegation rival.
