Spiteful and disgusting remark.

That feller has given everything for Everton during his career and typified by tonight. But here you are disparaging him.

Utterly pathetic.
I think you must of lost it for a sec m8 !!
maybe you need to read the post again...

I was saying anybody coming in to fill that position would have trouble as of the person they will be replacing !!!

My next door neighbour - Leeds ST holder - is looking for odds on City to score more than 8 past them. He syas they won't get another point given their fixtures and the rumoured dressing room wars. A somewhat despondent fan, makes everyone on here - including the worst doom-mongers - look positive.
Mate all the clubs at the bottom, their fans are all the exact same, that’s why I don’t get it when people come on here saying they don’t understand why fellow blues are negative, and moaning about the pessimism.

They’re negative because they’ve watched their side win 6 in 34, just like the other four clubs down the bottom are negative with their dire records. I guarantee if you go on their boards it will be full of fans saying “we’re so bad we are down.” This place is no different.

I feel yesterday was pivotal to win to be honest.

Winning there, would have meant 4 from the last 4 could have done it. The confidence it would have created would have given us every chance of nicking a point sesh to Brighton or City.

Now we’re hoping to realistically win our last two to stand a chance of survival for me and they’d s lot of pressure.
4 from last 4 could still do it imo
Can't see forest or Leeds getting more than 3

Forest could feasibly get anywhere between 0 or 9. They must be just as crap as the rest of the teams around us, but seem most likely to randomly win to me (e.g. Brighton), something which has deserted us for ages now. Not saying they will, but 4-6 points is not that crazy an estimate for them which worries me. Brighton will not have been down as one of their winnable games yet they won it from behind. That was their equivalent of our Fulham game (top half but weakened opponent at home).

Forest are the dark horses:
Southampton h - home game to bottom is literally the best fixture you can have
Chelsea a - unquestionably one of the worst teams in the division in 2023
Arsenal h - very good chance they are playing Arsenal kids with no title to play for, they battered them there in the cup last season, and an evening game so will be good atmosphere
Palace a - Palace now have nothing to play for

We have to get to a minimum of 32 points before B'mouth to have a chance. No-one has ever stayed up with 34, so it looks like we would have to beat Wolves as well unless we get a point each from both Brighton and City.

Given the performance last night it is now back in the realms of possibility that we could actually do it.
