Forest could feasibly get anywhere between 0 or 9. They must be just as crap as the rest of the teams around us, but seem most likely to randomly win to me (e.g. Brighton), something which has deserted us for ages now. Not saying they will, but 4-6 points is not that crazy an estimate for them which worries me. Brighton will not have been down as one of their winnable games yet they won it from behind. That was their equivalent of our Fulham game (top half but weakened opponent at home).
yea all true
Forest are capable of upsets but also capable of getting nothing from 4 games
The Southampton game is huge and they are favourites for that
we need a bit of luck there

Watch Patterson's perfomance last night: he contributed nothing meaningful going forward. His defensive game - such as it is - is to back off a player and hope he gets reinforcements around him. He never cuts out an attack further up the pitch.

He is practically no use whatsoever as a RB.

Coleman is better than him both attacking and defending.

I see what lot of other blues see about Patterson: it's hype with no substance.

If anyone thinks he did well last night when he came on they dont know football. Leicester just targetted that side all 2nd half...for a reason.
I think you need to take your Celtic cap off for a minute and stop singing YNWA !! Colemans loss is huge for the team, not just playing but the Morale he brings on the pitch, but what happened, happened and there's nothing we can do about that now except cover his position, and Patterson came on and done brilliantly, we're fighting for our lives and the last thing we need is abusing the replacement cos he played for Rangers.
It's getting beyond pathetic and sounds like something off a school playground.

Back the lad, whatever your misguided thoughts towards him are !!

Just a query, was this the same resentment when Gough played for us !!

BFS would be an utter fool to take a 4 match contract especially with City,Barcodes, WHAM and Spurs.... unless he sees next year in the Championship as attractive enough to get him off the beach.

Forest are the dark horses:
Southampton h - home game to bottom is literally the best fixture you can have
Chelsea a - unquestionably one of the worst teams in the division in 2023
Arsenal h - very good chance they are playing Arsenal kids with no title to play for, they battered them there in the cup last season, and an evening game so will be good atmosphere
Palace a - Palace now have nothing to play for
Yer not wrong there mate!😳🥴

The man knows his niche.

He’ll be after a 3 year contract for 4 games’ work.

If they stay up, they’ll want someone more glamorous. If they go down, he might get the boot anyway.

As you say, worse case, he’ll have to manage in the championship. But all he has to do is be bad enough at that to get the sack after 6 games and he’ll be on the beach again before September is out.

We need to ensure that our destiny is in our own hands on the final day. No good us beating Bournemouth if we can’t overtake teams who only need to draw or avoid getting mullered to survive.

Leeds look like prime targets to reel in, just a point and a goal ahead of us. As long as Allardyce doesn’t perform a miracle, I think we should be able to get ahead of them before the final day and know that beating Bournemouth will be enough to stay ahead of them.

Sadly, we need to scramble ahead of another team as well. If Forest can’t beat Southampton in their next game, then I think they’ve got a real problem. A defeat would be excellent, as just a draw away at Brighton would take us ahead of them on goal difference.

It’s so frustrating to once again be relying on other teams’ crapness as the cure for our troubles, but when your manager is on a mission to draw his way out of danger, we don’t have a choice but to pray for our rivals trip up.

The way the fixtures fall City have three games left to play after the Arsenal v Forest match. So even if it’s improbable City lose all three it’s highly unlikely that Arsenal will be mathematically out of things by then so they should be at full strength.

the poll has been changing all day... going from 25.3 to 24.8

What I want to know is if it's the same poor stressed out, freaked out, in need of a hug person or is the collective losing it? lol
