BFS would be an utter fool to take a 4 match contract especially with City,Barcodes, WHAM and Spurs.... unless he sees next year in the Championship as attractive enough to get him off the beach.
He probably doesn't see himself in the job for more than 4 games. Easy negotiation. Pay me nothing if we are relegated and pay me 1m if we stay up.

Bookies seem to think if Forest beat Southampton they are safe. If that is the case we are going to need 4 points to pass them on GD.

What a game this is for absolutely everyone. The two teams involved and everyone else around them. Fascinated by this game tbh. I actually think Southampton have played quite well in games ive seen. And this is absolute last chance saloon for them.
That pissing draw forest got back against City when they had one shot and scored. Annoying.

Yeah I think that's a really dangerous game for Forest. Ideal on paper, far from it in reality.

Monday night is pivotal in that regard, if we lose and they win the difference is 4 points, if we draw and they win 3. Now Southampton may win but what I can’t quite get my head around is some posters thinking Southampton will beat Forest but logic though the table, form and a home games for Forest says they won’t (unless the posters are relying on their sixth sense)

Forest far better at home, Southampton better away
Never know

Not disagreeing but while we can mathematically still stay up we won’t know if these were the must win games until the season’s done. I just hope that wherever we are next season there’s more to look forward to than another season of this miserable barrel scraping.

For me, they’re must win.

Id much rather us do our bit, then rely on others to help us out.

I think it’s a dangerous game to be relying on multiple teams failing to win for the rest of the season, to be truthfully honest.

That's always the case though isn't it? Where you finish in the league is always dependent on how good other teams are and how well they perform, it's not specific to this situation. What's weird is when a team has 28 points from 33 games and people start claiming that they need 9 from the next 5 and acting like it will be a failure to do that that sends them down rather than what's gone on before.

I mean, in this circumstance I don’t think there’s a “demand”, rather a prediction that is what we need.

Personally for me, I’m looking at the other teams, and thinking what they need.

The whole season has been a shambles for us, and whilst I’m slightly less resigned to relegation than I was at 10pm on a Thursday, it’s still a threat, and I’m looking for positives wherever I can.

True, but statistically I would think the numbers would more likely point to a Forest win and I am sure the betting reflects thus
For sure but the fact Saints have a better away record(not as good as Forest at Home) does throw a spanner in the works
Odds definitely in Forest favour but it's a huge match with a lot riding on it, I'm hopeful Saints do us a favour

They also know if they dont win(southampton) they are as good as relegated. They might just throw the dice and who knows.

Me too mate…if we see Forest and Leeds as being the potentially weakest of our four rivals, we could well do without them winning which would put us at significant risk of falling four points behind them, our result would have to be a stunner

Unfortunately I think that’s the game we’re in as we can’t seem to buy a win. Problem is we’re in this situation and in the relegation zone. We needed a win from one of Palace / Leicester/ Fulham to have a proper chance of staying up.
