I think they’ll play him and take him off at half time when 3-0 up.
They may do. I think it’d be an unnecessary risk for them to take but they may do. At least if that happens I can look forward to people trying to convince me that whichever centre halves we don’t pick would definitely have stopped him and we’d actually have come back and won 4-3 anyway if we’d had the guts to let Ellis simms and demarai gray off the leash.

I think and hope we can get 2 points from next 2 games. If any more then safety is extremely likely.

Brighton were comfortably dispatched by Forest recently and, although they are a very good side, with some great players, they can be had on their day. I think Dyche will be more than satisfied with another away draw like Palace and Leicester.

We play City arguably smack bang in the middle of the two most important games in their history. When the fixture comes around, they'll more likely than not be at least 3 points clear with a game in hand, maybe even 4 clear if Newcastle can beat Arsenal at home. 4 points clear with just 3 Arsenal game left.. you'd imagine they'll have both eyes on the return Madrid fixture, knowing full well they can easily take the title even if they lose at Goodison.

If that were to happen, I think we'd move one position up to 18th and be level with Leicester, but behind them on goal difference. I think Forest beat Southampton and will be on 33 with 2 games to play.

That's my positive take on it, anyway.

They were dead on their feet after playing the semi final into extra time 72 hours earlier. I think it was pure good fortune forest got them then as any other time i think brighton wipe the floor with them.

I think the performance at Leicester was very good, but, our failure to take all three points from a game in which, apart from a twenty minute spell in the second half, we dominated, will come back to haunt us. Our failure to bring on fresh legs in the last twenty minutes or so, cost us a win that was there for the taking. The Leicester defence is short on pace and the centre backs had been battered by Calvert Lewin all night, how they would have loved Gray's pace to have to deal with in the latter stages.

I understand all the Dyche is pragmatic shouts and the a point is better than a defeat shouts, but, a point there was just not enough for us with Brighton and City up next. At this stage I will be delighted if we can go into the Bournemouth game knowing that a win keeps us up.. I doubt that will be the case though.

True, and agreed. But, to lighten the mood, they will be playing us only 92 hours or so after playing United again in the league. So, we have the jump on them in preparation. That game is there to be targeted. Even a point would, potentially, make a huge difference to our chances of staying up.

Leeds are already preparing for the championship.

Forest got their first win against brighton the other day in about 10 games.

Leicester are the only ones who may be able to fight their way out of it but I think they will need to beat Fulham away from home and not sure they will do it.

I still think it’s Forest and Leeds going down with Southampton

I'll take anything but they've battered far better teams than us at their place. I cant see anything but them opening us up with their slick passing sadly. For me im still a bit pissed about leicester. If ever there was a chance for those extra points that was it. There was so much space to attack in the last 15 minutes. Why tf he never brought on gray who loves space to run into. Pure mystery for me by dyche.

I think forest have the best chance of getting out of it, the timing of the Brighton game saved them and they have soton and lampard at home. They look a better team than Leicester.
