I think forest have the best chance of getting out of it, the timing of the Brighton game saved them and they have soton and lampard at home. They look a better team than Leicester.

Very. I am still of the opinion that was unfair scheduling on not just brighton but the rest of the teams involved. It was the late kick off on a sunday. Went into extra time. And none of the other semi finalists had to play within 72 hours.
IF forest do stay up by the skin of their teeth they can look back on that as very kind fixturing.

I think we'll be lucky to get even 1 point from the next two. Start praying none of those on 30 points above us get a single win.
Should have thrown on fresh legs at leicester and gone more for the win.

I agree. We can't buy a win right now. Any of the relegation rivals win over the next couple of weeks and I think it's likely we'll be on the brink.

Our inability to win games we played well in such as Leicester, Palace and Spurs has killed us.

This! And throwing away home games like Villa, Newcastle and Fulham. Yes they're all better than us right now but to not get a single point from any of them is shocking.

I'm not Dyche out (I'm equally not a massive fan but I accept we can't keep changing managers) but his insistence to play Michael Keane, as well as Godfrey/Holgate at RB has cost us valuable points.

I got the feeling that they were happy draws because they banked on getting a win against either Fulham or Newcastle. Obviously that didn't materialise and we are where we are.

It's an incredible ask to get something from our next 2 games. Forest and Leicester will fancy their chances of opening up a gap on us.

People writing off the Brighton game as no chance - the same Brighton that got beat by Forest a week or two ago?

If dyche gets the selection right and the work rate and tenacity that we showed last night is there we can do something.

They also more recently pumped Wolves 6 nil so yeah I think we can be worried as we aren't lucky enough to be playing them 72 hours after an extra time semi

Haaland won't play if the Champions league semi is in the balance. He will be saved for the 2nd leg at the Etihad I think.
And if Keane is still in the team by then we are done anyway
Surely even Dyche knows that absurdity can't continue.

City can play whoever they want and still win. They are relentless this time of year. Our only chance of a result would be a flawless defensive performance and we aren't capable.

Leeds are already preparing for the championship.

Forest got their first win against brighton the other day in about 10 games.

Leicester are the only ones who may be able to fight their way out of it but I think they will need to beat Fulham away from home and not sure they will do it.

I still think it’s Forest and Leeds going down with Southampton
They've just had their two 'must win' games and got 2 points. Leeds and Everton both pulverised them for the bulk of 90 minutes.

3 defeats to come for them on the bounce now. They basically have the last game of the season to save themselves.

The “I got a feeling” crew for the game against City at home is called blind and deluded optimism. I get it, I really do. Maybe we can be helped if they extend their lead in the title race before then and they play their “reserves”…. Alvarez, Foden, Bernardo.. what a bunch of duds. I’m not sure it’s possible to be as lucky as we’d need to get to win that one.
Goodison Park is a walkover this season, lost 9 at home already, only Southampton have lost more.

I’m really starting to lean more towards this view after our game against them. We could have had 3 or 4 against them and they scored from a set piece scramble and a mistake (although well taken admittedly). Wolves should have been 3 up against them before they smash and grabbed a comeback, they should be down already. I think the Fulham game is key, if they lose that it looks very difficult for them given how they’re playing.

That’s presuming Klopp doesn’t throw their game against them. Wouldn’t put it past him at all if top 4 is mathematically gone by then. He’s bitter enough to do it.
