I'm getting to pretty certain in my thinking that 5 points will be enough to survive. If City batter Leeds and run the score up and Forest dont beat S'ton, even more so.

Could well be that 4 more points does it.

If we go all out for wins in the last 4 games the way we did at Leicester we'll get the required total.
Hope your right mate.
Can't see forest not beating the saints though unless the pressure gets to them.
Hope City run amok agast Leeds and shattered them confidence wise

What's the workings on that? We've won 1 in the last 5 at home, the 1 win coming against Brentford as a surprise result lol
No workings. Just a feeling.
I have seen us get results against teams at Goodison when we had no right.
Not everything goes to form and odds.
City will not like coming to Goodison needing a result, regardless of our form, simply because when the crowd are up for it it is a leveller.
Fact. (May not be factual)

Monday night is going to be horrible.

Need a severely depleted Fulham side to dispatch Leicester, because if they do it looks very bleak for them with their remaining fixtures. Also need Saints to turn up and take at least a point from Forest whilst we gain at least a point.

Sadly think the most likely result is Leicester draw, we lose, and Forest win.

Then Forest goto Chelsea after the saints game and that manager is giving 3 points out like Oprah gives out prizes.
Lamps will redeem himself and put on a wonder show and hammer them , then I wake up realise it was just a dream and it really is Lampard we are dreaming of getting a result.
I was talking to a Chelsea fan when I was on holiday the other week we were talking about Lampard and he said what we all think nice fella hasn't a clue ,
He two mates an Arsenal fan and a spurs fans had a bet against them winning a game all season think.it was 21to1 or something like that.
I think he will , or should I day the players will win a game along the way hope its this one.

You are carrying me along on this wave of cautious optimism Dave my fellow long suffering Blue.

Keep it up mate, we need all the positivity we can get!

You know, in all my years, I have never gone into a match thinking we wouldn't win, never attended a match thinking the same, otherwise why would we subject ourselves to it?

My lad is always "we are getting bummed this, we wont win that" and I say to him, if it makes you feel that way dont go, dont watch, its not good for you. I've always "believed" in all my years following us, yes its super hard at times and yes been let down as have we all too many times, in fact more often than not since the Prem started.

MY only downer this year is the effort and cost involved, so as I have stated previously, I will save a few bob and watch from afar but will never stop thinking "Come on Everton, these are Shoite"

Forest have almost got points in 2 difficult away games at Liverpool and Brentford. Based on that I could see them getting something from Chelsea, then at Palace after that.

There are 4 games left, their next one is away to City, and their defenders include Junior Firpo and Liam Cooper, what are you basing any of this on?
We got a draw at City, I'm not saying they will. But I think they have a better chance with Gravy head than Gracia.

Time after Time teams get a bounce from a new manager. We beat Arsenal and looked like prime AC Milan defensively in doing so.

Just bumped in to a guy at Tesco wearing an Everton hoody. I asked him if he was as resigned to our fate as I am but he believes still “6 points from the next two games” . I’m guessing that, as an older gent, he can draw optimism from our history.

I felt a little better from our brief chat at least.
