It might come down to goal difference, yes. And potentially goals scored after that. We’re effectively 2 points behind Leeds and Leicester.

Do you avoid relegation if you’re outside of the bottom three after 35 games ?

Toffee TV discussed this recenty and they suggested that psychologically, being out of the bottom 3 going into games is better than being in the bottom 3 with work to do.

I think that’s fair enough - I expect 0 from Brighton and city which would have left us on 32 going into Wolves which I think we will also lose. So 32 going into the final game. If Leicester and Forest win tomorrow we would go down I think even with a Fulham win under those circumstances

Fulham is the real killer mate. As I said at the time, that was the game we had to win. Had we done so, we would almost be safe now. It was a spectcular error.

A couple of defeats against Brighton and City would still have left us staring down the barrel with the ‘wrong’ set of results elsewhere.

Have we ever gone into what will be the final 2 weeks of the season, with not one team even being officially relegated yet, there is normally one or even 2 that were gone a while before as far as i think

Weirdly I think we go unbeaten until the end of the season.

Win a Brighton and Wolves then home to Bournemouth.

I think the timing of the City game given that Arsenal play away to Newcastle and drop points, will mean Pep will rotate and we will draw.

I actually think we lose to Wolves as well but get a point there and we are on 30. Which is the same points that Forest and Leicester are on now. That’s 85% down in my eyes.

I dont know. There were signs v Leicester that were good. We could get something from Wolves and Bournemouth but yes we are poor.
