I agree. It wasn’t the result, it was the total lack of desperation. That game didn’t send us down, but was the one that clear as day showed we weren’t going to be the team putting in a run of results to get clear. They were weak, out of form and we just didn’t show up with intention of win at all costs. Bizarre. Didn’t even look nervous, just toothless, directionless and crap, and then as soon as we went behind, players gave up, and that was the moment it was so obvious the Goodison crowd was just just exhausted trying to drag these knobblers out of the mud again. Tank was empty.

Even - Forest, Palace, Chelsea, Leicester, although draws. We should of at least taken 3pts off one of those games...

Yeah same here mate. Main thing i want today is for Fulham and Southampton to win as i have zero confidence in Everton winning any of their 4 remaining games tbh.

Our away record really is shameful. Only 1 win all season and only 2 all of last season. Time these players stood up to some pressure and showed a bit of fight and resilience.

Lowest scorers in the league with 27 goals in 34 games is absolutely disgusting. The likes of Gueye, Onana, Iwobi, Tarkowski and Coady ought to be well and truly ashamed of themselves.

The chances the former two have passed up have been vast, while Iwobi's conversion rate is quite appalling for a supposed attacking player. The number of corners we turn over is embarrassing too, constantly getting our heads to it but hopelessly knocking it over.

Something has to change, but it's far too late in the day now. Maybe one of those players will grab a goal before the end of the season, heck maybe two of them might, but it won't change our destiny.

The draws at Forest and Palace, the defeat to Fulham , I’d also argue about Leicester , really did it for me, no wins and honestly it was a little bemusing to see some of the reactions to the draws.

It’s not fine, far from it and again people are doing the same thing about Wolves/Bournemouth like they did with Forest and in particular Fulham at home.

Still, it would not surprise me if we got a win out of the next two games. Stranger things have happened and just think the pressure we would put on other teams if we did!

Also the home defeats to Southampton, and Wolves who at the time were bottom of the league and scored in the 95th minute. Normally whilst we are inconsistent we at ,east compete and get points from bottom half teams…..that has abandoned is so far this year, which is the danger

i go to most aways and havent seen everton win a game since walcott scored in the last minute at watford.
mainly due to covid,but still crazy!

Add McNeil to that list, he is not pulling up many trees with his contribution as well, over rated by a lot on here, don't get me wrong has done ok of late but the way some talk of him

Having seen a very poor Leicester side look dangerous every time they went forward against us, I'm not optimistic about our brave boys facing Brighton tonight.
