They're missing a few first choice players and aren't scoring many so bookies will readjust for that.

Could be a draw I think, very bad result for Leicester if they find a way to lose.
If they lose they go to the last game of the season to survive with the rest of us...even if they draw they do that.

There’s no way we lose tonight. We went to palace and held our ground for 90 mins, that’s enough to guarantee safety
Palace aren’t exactly Brighton though are they? Palace are more static, route one to a degree in their build up, Brightons pace and movement is superb. I think that may be our undoing, we have fairly static defensive capabilities. If I am being honest, I want at least a point but it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if all of us lost….it means we are still in it but some of our rivals easiest games (on paper) have been played

If we don’t have a plan to always show Mitoma on to his left foot and not let him cut inside on his right our coaching staff haven’t been paying attention to Brighton’s other games recently. Brighton as a club are everything we should aspire to be from top to bottom, from club partnerships and affiliations all over the world to help them recruit hidden gems to the style of pass and move football throughout every age group which enables an easier pathway for youth and new recruits, even new managers.

Massive games needed from our central midfield today because if any of them switch off or cheat for one passage of play, we are done. Having mobile, technical, pacey players running unchallenged at our defence is the stuff of nightmares. Brighton aren’t infallible, they can be got at and if they aren’t 100% at it then we have every chance of getting something especially from set pieces.

I want those players to have a look at the away end and ask themselves if that’s the support they deserve today and every week? COYB!

You think Everton have an actual plan?

I thought Palace where the best team
In the league when we played them. It was like David going up against Goliath

Paul Barber was interviewed in advance of the Utd match the other day and he was just saying they need to be self sustainable as they cant keep asking Tony Bloom for more money so they bring in young, up and coming players , and their managerial appointments are chosen based on them providing a other for those players to come through.

That’s a club that knows their limitations and plans accordingly, our BoD on the other hand still thinks that we are massive and have an elite standing in the game and that sort of planning is below us. There appears to be a delusional snobbery at Everton and that like the other so called big clubs we do not need to plan. All clubs should plan only ones who may think they don’t need to have a LOT of money which we don’t have

I think you’re missing the sarcasm in Chris’ post

Think we should be losing tonight against Brighton who still have an outside chance at CL and should certainly be going for the Europa League. The maddest thing though is you have to go to Palace in 12th to find the team that lost less than us, you have to go to Brentford in 9th to find a team that draw more than us too. Just goes to show how terribly we've been in terms of being clinical.

We're probably performing as a top 10-12 team defensively (somehow, bizarre I know) but have had absolutely nothing up front all season, meaning once we go a goal behind we capitulate completely. Hopefully the penalty and even the offside goal will give Calvert Lewin the world of confidence to try to help us out of this mess.

A draw tonight would be massive.
