Did Leeds not miss an opportunity by failing to beat Newcastle then? What about Forest failing to beat the worst Chelsea side ever?
given the position of the teams we are talking about yes they did. In the same way that we missed an opportunity today. two games left every game is an opportunity.

I hope they miss the next couple of opportunies too !

Mad when you think Brighton have sold some of their best players to Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in the last 18 months.

It is do or die now really. Got to go all out to try and win both games no matter what happens elsewhere. Ensure our own safety by our own means. This relying on what other teams do malarkey is no good for your sanity. I am completely drained with it all.

Alternatively, Arsenal will be a wounded animal next weekend and will fight tooth and nail to at least force City to do it themselves. They will no way want to go out with a whimper and hand City the title with their own result.

Arsenal are playing on the Sunday aren't they? Not 100% but think Man. City-Chelsea is before that.

Forest keep getting dismissed on here and they have plenty of weaknesses but they've been showing plenty of fight in recent weeks and have a goalscorer which is always important for any relegation threatened team.

They are also amusingly the last team in premier league to get any points off Man. City.

If Arsenal can lose at Goodison they can lose at the City Ground as today is a proper bubble burster for them and they haven't played well at all and look very tired and leggy.

Hopefully @davek will be along in a minute to put me right. Think he last predicted Forest to pick up a point sometime in early April.😉

No point dwelling on ifs, buts, and maybes.

Two games to go and we are not in the bottom three.

Wins will be hard to come by for all of the sides.

This scenario would have been very acceptable after the Fulham/Newcastle games, and is even moreso now.

Just two games to go.

Those games against West Ham for Leicester and Leeds seem to be getting called for them as nailed on wins according to some here.

But if Leicester get beat tomorrow I dont even think that fixture counts: I think Leicester will be all but down as they'll get f.a. at Newcastle...and West Ham final day will be tough in any case.

And Leeds v West Ham next week might look like a good time to face them, but the Hammers are still at home in their final appearance there for the season...they wont want a defeat to sign off with.

I still say there's barely a win left for any of us, Leeds, Leicester or Forest. People seem to be expecting two wins for all our opponents when I doubt they'll get that many between them.

If we get one more win I'd be 65% sure we'll stay up.
