Leeds started playing against City once they took the foot off, same as we did after the third goal

They’d also be sitting with 0 points from two games under the Count of Monte Bisto but for a lucky deflection against Newcastle
Its the manner of the defeat though.

Heroic gallant leeds with gravy croquett at the helm fighting until the last

Before anyone starts kneejerking over the Arsenal result: I dont think Arteta will want this season to fizzle out badly.

That result may hand them a kick up the arse and a bounce-back performance next week.

Think it just highlights how fantastic our result and performance was at Brighton.

No point dwelling on ifs, buts, and maybes.

Two games to go and we are not in the bottom three.

Wins will be hard to come by for all of the sides.

This scenario would have been very acceptable after the Fulham/Newcastle games, and is even moreso now.

Just two games to go.

Title race done then.

Saka had his worst game in 18 months, Martinelli injured, Odegaard getting subbed, Trossard running into everyone and wasting endless chances in final third.

Suddenly Forest getting at least a draw when they've only lost twice at City Ground in six months dosen't seem quite as implausible.....
Alternatively, Arsenal will be a wounded animal next weekend and will fight tooth and nail to at least force City to do it themselves. They will no way want to go out with a whimper and hand City the title with their own result.
