If Leicester win tonight, I think, on balance, we will drop.

There are still pathways to safety (two draws could potentially overhaul Forest and stay above Leeds), but a Leicester win will, if nothing else, clarify what we need to do on Saturday. Win.
It would mean we need one win for sure, but would also create a potential situation v all rivals where due to possible combinations of results 35 or 36 aren’t that different so we’d definitely have to push for 38 if we were drawing with Wolves late on.

We can't be relegated next weekend but if results fall in the right way we can be free of relegation .

So many on here convinced we are going to be relegated even though our chances of staying up are improving each weekend.

Liverpool need to win this game for themselves, not us. If they don't they have no hope of top four . They could not have more motivation if they tried.

I see people think that Forest getting something from playing Arsenal is more likely than us getting some off of Wolves or that Leicester can get something at Newcastle .
I think Forest may well be one of the teams to go as I think they may finish on 34 points.

We actually could be if we lose at Wolves and Leicester win tonight and at Newcastle, and Forest beat Arsenal.

Not likely, but mathematically possible.

Tonight could have significance to us but the only game that really matters for us is winning at Wolves. We win that, the others have to keep pace. 3 points at wolves with other results going our way and it will make for a much easier last game.

Two points could be enough with a Leicester win and loss and Leeds win and loss depending their GD?

Does it go on head to head if we tie with Leeds on GD?

Normally I can wangle free tickets in the Leicester end discreetly supporting us (50% of the time getting escorted out midway through the second half).

Tonight I’ll be in there willing on our red neighbours which will be nauseating but easier to not get pelted with bits of hotdog for celebrating accidentally. Though if they put 8 past them I may consider a Dalglish tattoo.

As Leicester prepare for a potentially pivotal match, it can also be revealed that the club’s players will have their salaries slashed by up to 50 per cent in the event of relegation.

After posting record pre-tax losses of £92.5 million earlier this year, some supporters have been fearing further financial pain with Leicester’s squad not having relegation reductions in their contracts.

However, the clauses are believed to be between 35 and 50 per cent for all players and it is normal procedure for the majority of Premier League clubs.

“Normal procedure.” Why do I feel we haven’t got this clause for our players?
I read we only started putting them in from last summer so we’d have problems.

Thing I don’t know about these clauses is whether they also contain reduced fee relegation release clauses or something? Ie ‘if we go down we’ll cut your wages but you can leave for x’? Otherwise why would players agree to the clause?

Imagine if us, Forest, Leeds & Leicester never scored another point this season lol highly unlikely but what a mad end to the season that would be.
