Shameful that tonight our biggest game so far in the season doesn't even involve us

Good morning Kevin
Such a beautiful day .

Maybe mate.

Hopefully we see Leicester defeated tonight. Even a draw would see us where we hoped we'd be: out of the relegation zone with two decent games left to get a win from.

As I said above in this thread: if we are at that point after tonight I'll be content enough. Because after that Newcastle game we were gone. That's been the massive dividend of being brave away to Brighton and hammering them down there. One more performance approaching those levels and we're pretty much home.
Hopefully fingers crossed, I thought we were done after fulham, that was a real kick in the teeth. Hopefully 2 more performances like Brighton and we can all enjoy our summer after the hell of the last few months.

Yes, that's what I've said apart from him targetting the Newcastle game. That's not a slam dunk start for Iheanacho. In any case, I cant see Iheanacho being the difference at Newcastle. Final day maybe. But if they lose the next two it's over for them.

If Leicester lose tonight I'd call them early as relegated along with S'ton. Newcastle will see Leicester as their easiest game left and will throw everything at them.

If Leicester win tonight I'll start being concerned about them. Anything short of that and I'm more concerned about Leeds and Forest.

Interesting what Leicester do tonight. Jonny Evans finally fit again so will surely start. Wouldn't shock me if they went 5 at the back as they have to make it difficult for opposition to actually score and then hope later on in the game Maddison-Barnes-CF combine for some decent moves.

Why do Leicester keep getting put on Monday's btw with full week to prepare? Just seen Newcastle-Leicester is next Monday, surely it would've been more logical to put West Ham-Leeds to give West Ham extra 30 hours to recover from their SF?

I've just got a gut feeling... The RS beat Leicester tonight and they lose to Newcastle next weekend
Leeds lose to West Ham and Forest lose to Arsenal.
We get a win against Wolves and we're safe.
Leeds, Leicester and Forest go into the last day needing a result and actually i can see Leeds surviving and Forest and Foxes going down.

We lost to the best team in the world yesterday but we created chances, caused them problems and there were plenty of positives to take from it. It was the worst possible time to play City because they just don't lose at the business end of the season. Take that same energy and positivity into our final two games and it's in our hands.

That miss of Doucorre's in the home game when he was through on goal seems to becoming more and more important with every game

Bookies have us 9/4 to drop this morning. They’re willing to more than triple your money if it happens. We should be encouraged by that 👍

To be honest probably everyone would have taken this position before we kicked a ball against Leicester. That was looking like a game where if we lost we’d be down.

If you’d said after that we’d have 3 points from Brighton and City

Leicester would have lost heavily to Fulham

Leeds would have 1 point from City and Newcastle

And we were still outside the relegation zone with two games to play

I think most would have taken that position if offered at that time. Forest picking up 4 points is annoying but we could very easily still be sat here on 28 points needing 2 wins to have any chance of staying up.

I would only take a draw if every other team would lose as anything less could leave us bottom 3, we have to go full out for the win for me, as ive said it could mean we are safe with a win next weekend as well - we cant be going into the final game needing to win hoping other scores go wrong for me, though ive always said i think we would win final game. but if we can do it next week, i would go for it. but as ever no one knows how things will pan out
If we have to win the final match, then the occasion will be like a cup tie, and in any single match, the result can go either way.

Regardless of how the team plays, the result could be decided by an injury, a controversial decision of the referee or a stroke of good or bad fortune.

We've all seen it before!

More so at 2v1 down with Maddison lining up to take that penalty…
