How have they been wronged? They've been wank at football and got relegated.
Tell that to Middlesbrough 2019 who finished one point off Derby and Wycombe 2021 who finished one point off Derby.

Both took legal cases over Derby's belatedly proven FFP breaches. Does that not set a precedent of some kind?

In any event I suspect Everton will stay up. 32 pts and most favourable run in.

No PL side just interested in this case from a regulatory perspective. I support Bristol City and am a strong advocate of FFP

If Everton found guilty why should those who are wronged not sue for losses incurred? Derby were sued once found guilty.
If a team goes down this year its because they have been hopeless. Could be safe with under 35 points.

Threatening to sue a bit of a joke. Its not like we even spent anything. We sold 2 of our main players for a total in excess of £100m and spent none of the money for Gordon in Jan.

FWIW I think FFP is a nonsense. A business owner should be able to invest what they want in their business

Spurs have taken a couple of high profile batterings but there’s evidence they’re working for Mason and as a popular guy will want to give him (and Kane) a good send off.

More importantly, they are now tied on points with Villa for 7th with only two goals difference between the two. So that guarantees they will be neither mathematically certain to get or certain to not get 7th- they’ll have something to play for.

The Conference might not have been their aim, but failure to get any European football will be a disastrous season, in terms of pride and also the lost revenue from a series of European nights. Spurs are inconsistent but at their best much better than Leeds, and they won’t be holding anything back on the final day.
Yes, I made the point earlier that Spurs have Europe to secure. They wont be sure of that until the final day.

It beggars belief that anyone would see 18th placed Leeds playing at home to 7th place Spurs and think Leeds are going to be taking 3 points off them.
