Can't really remember the circumstances surrounding Carlo's arrival at Everton, but I wonder why he joined a club of our low standing. Surely he had no vision of changing us?

We need to get over the line this season. Next year will be the weakest premier league in recent history. I don't see luton/coventry spending a fortune and be competitive in the premier league, nor does Sheffield or Burnley...on the contrary it could be one of the most difficult season in the championship to get promoted.

It’s all a rouse. Let the Sky 6 have their own league and all the good clubs slope off to the Championship.

In terms of top division league titles yes, but to be honest it’s a bit selective when you could look at the Number of major trophies won, when I think we then sit in 8th. On the European trophy front, I’m not sure where we sit but we would be equal with West Ham
lol lol lol

Ha ha ha.

Everton 8th most successful club...THAT'S what's funny about it.
I said if we look at all trophies…rather than just top division titles…so you will know what I was saying rather than providing a glib response but for the avoidance of doubt, whilst we could ’weight’ trophies then top tier titles is right up there (there’s an argument that a European Cup to be use the old parlance is of more prestige)….but if we are just looking at success in terms of winning trophies - and winning a trophy is the very definition of success, then we are NOT the 4th most successful. That’s just a fact. You can’t argue with that (or of course you could depending on how intransigent you want to be).

As far as I understand Luton will have to outlay a minimum of £10m just to make their ground Premiership standard.

There's only one trophy with any weight: The English top flight title.

I'm not sure what other metric you bring in to try and measure English football club success.

Generally trophies inc European trophies, League Cups and FA cups….or do they not count now? 😂
