For what it’s worth…. We did better against City than real are doing so far…. They are 2-0 down after 37 mins.

So take the positives…

If it goes to 4-0, then essentially we are better than Real

It’s been a weird year in that all three promoted sides have done quite well, and only one remains on the fringes of the battle. Also in that no one has been set adrift until the last few weeks of the season, resulting in 9 teams being involved until recently.

You never know but I suspect we will see a more conventional bottom end of the table next year with 1 or 2 promoted teams struggling all season.

But it's not 'a project'.

We need to get over the line this season. Next year will be the weakest premier league in recent history. I don't see luton/coventry spending a fortune and be competitive in the premier league, nor does Sheffield or Burnley...on the contrary it could be one of the most difficult season in the championship to get promoted.
