….two more sleeps and we should have more of an idea of our fate. No idea how this will work out but we have probably given ourselves the best chance of all the teams in this battle.

We know that we can do it for ourselves with two wins

That's a bonus, but it could also double as a burden

Hopefully the management has seen it as a positive and have drilled it into the team so that they're ready to fight

Not sure about anyone else but I'm finding the wait in between games is as bad as the games themselves. I find I'm wishing days away to get to the next game just to find out how this will all end!

This is what being in the mix with two games to go is all about.

By definition it doesn't come easy.

The nervous anticipation somehow seems to be worse than the reality, in most situations.

I'm looking forward to the seasons end, but if that comes with a bad outcome, then that's a completely different scenario.

Isn't Zaha out for Palace so that simplifies Forest task on last day, double up on Eze and it's not like Palace have many other scoring threats.

Palace and Wolves is similar level of away game so we'll see who does better as that team will stay up.

A fair few say Palace play better without zaha, although I have no clue if that's true or not

I just hope we are not in the bottom 3 going into the final week, its all well and good some like me thinking we will win the final game and ive thought that for months if we needed to, While some are worried by it. but it wont auto mean we will get safe the final day if in the bottom 3. As every team with a chance if people think they wont win all know its just a massive 90mins to save themselves - there is nothing to say if we are in the bottom 3 and we all won final day (not that i think that will happen) - it would be great to save ourselevs this next few days if we had any luck

Good point. I've been thinking about the summer ahead IF we're relegated and in all honesty I think it would go down as my worst summer on a personal level. I know it's out of my hands but having a summer of worrying about what players will leave, the financial impact, etc and I just think it's something I've never had to experience before. I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling this way either.

If Dyche keeps us up, he deserves a medal - and a proper round of summer recruitment/backing, followed by a fair crack at the league next year.

If we go down, he deserves a chance to get us out of the Championship.

He deserves to stay as we need stability, 2/3 seasons for one manager to make it his own team. Part of the reason why we are down where we are is because each new manager gives players a fresh start and we get people come into the side that have been given multiple opportunities in the past but cannot be trusted.

I dunno, either way I am completely forgetting about football for as long as possible and I'm looking forward to that regardless of what happens
