As much as I sometimes wish Everton would liquidate, it’s too big an institution for that to happen.

We could go in to administration and get relegated to League Two, but that would just make us a no-brainer investment and we’d make our way back.

We’re not some perennial League 2 / National League outfit that would sink without a trace.

And for what it’s worth, it’s not that unlikely that we secure Premier League safety this weekend.

we need to stay up mate

On the other hand mate, if we win on Saturday and Leeds lose and Leicester draw or lose, we are safe before the final game. Lots of things can happen.

Wolves might have a good away record but nothing lasts forever and they are only a little bit above us, have lost the same amount of games as us, have conceded just 4 less goals than us and have scored 2 less than us. There is very little difference between the 2 teams.

It is a very winnable game if the lads put in a good shift like they did at Brighton.

i hope so

Good point. I've been thinking about the summer ahead IF we're relegated and in all honesty I think it would go down as my worst summer on a personal level. I know it's out of my hands but having a summer of worrying about what players will leave, the financial impact, etc and I just think it's something I've never had to experience before. I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling this way either.
Which players will leave? Um, all of them, please?

That's truly nothing to worry about. Embrace the liberation.

Quite confident there’ll be no “what might happen” then
Nope, he'll be fully wrapped up with each possible scenario by then, the results will just fly over is head..
( Unless this wkend goes in our favour, we will then have a week to work on getting it through to him...

Regardless of what happens over the next few weeks im determined to not let it affect my life. Fighting relegation has been unbearable, same last season. Like many others it has spoilt my nights and weekends and affected my moods.

As soon as this season ends regardless of what happens im gonna switch off from Everton and Football for the summer. Or at least that is the plan.

i get you but it’s just my head mate
Matty my friend, I and so many other Blue brethren on here share your concern and pain.

We all deeply love the tradition of this Club. However, family and friends are more important.

94, 98 and last year drained me but this year I am going to accept whatever happens without losing sleep.

Other concerns regarding loved ones have completely overtaken my worries about whether or not Everton stay up.

We will keep the Faith and go on, no matter what happens.
