I think it would be irrelevant.

They’d be turning up to celebrate a triumphant season.

I’d have been more concerned by a defeat tonight and a cagey performance against Leicester. 2-0 here and I feel relaxed. Good for us this.

….ultimately the decision to buy, sell or renew contracts will be his. If you’re the Line Manager you need knowledge and instinct to make critical decisions. Even in transition, he failed to plug an obvious gap that blokes on here could see 18 months ago.

That alone is enough to convince me he’s not a football man and that is an absolute requirement of a DoF.

Took my comment very seriously eh!

Was tongue in cheek but then last time we guaranteed a top 4 slot, we followed it up with a 7-0 defeat at Arsenal..
 


Keep it simple. All 20 teams to win their last home game “for the fans” whether it’s this weekend or next, thus by definition they must lose their other game. Table looks exactly as it does now but with everyone 3 points better off. Sorted.
 
This discussion shows how little faith most of us have in Everton, and probably with good reason. Everton plays two lower half teams with nothing at stake and people are worried the lack of pressure means the opponents will play well while the pressure on Everton could be too much for them. While Leicester and Leeds may play better teams with nothing at stake and people are scared that will help them get wins. If you can't step up and knock off Wolverhampton and Bournemouth with relegation in play, you likely deserve to go down.
 
I did a totally scientific and statistically viable survey in the pub last night. one of each of Spurs, Liverpool, Forest, Leeds, Leicester and Man City fans. All of them thought Leeds and Leicester were going down. I was the one least confident of it.

Best get Walshy back and stick with those old school football men then.

We need someone who can implement and oversee the systems and staff that allows us to operate as a modern day football club, they won't have much to do with scouting. Given the recent hires being made that looks like what we are trying to achieve.
