Not sure that's accurate and not the way I see it.

Because if Leeds lose (assuming 1-0), then a point is enough for us to stay up unless Leeds win by 3+ on the final day.
Yes, but that's if Leeds draw final day, surely? GD wouldn't come into it if they win final day and we lost.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we stay up now. Today was the day for doing our talking and we muffed it. Credit to fight on against the odds to snatch something, but it’s touch snd go if that’ll be enough even with a final day win. Forest have removed a potential backstop. A single Leeds or Leicester win relegates us, in my view, if it arrives in the next 48 hours.

If we're somehow lucky enough to still be out of the bottom 3 on Tuesday morning, then Goodison could potentially be a very, very, very ugly place to be next week if we can't beat an on-the-beach Bournemouth at home to stay up.
That is one of my worries, albeit it I have many!! The longer that must win game goes on 0-0 and other goals going in elsewhere could be horrific.

never mind if we go behind…

In fairness we did the same to the same team when they came to Goodison. Difference is Forest found their hero when it mattered in Awoniyi, 5 goals in 3 games, we didn't.
That’s the beauty of football. A hero emerged. Full credit to him. It is a glory game, after all.

Goes without saying that West Ham v Leeds is now the most important game of our season.

If Leeds lose then we only need a point at home to Bournemouth in all likelihood to stay up.

Even if they draw it’s not catastrophic - I do reckon a win though and it’s the end of the line for us.

Everyone knows the reasons we are where we are - but it sums us up in a nutshell that we need an enormous favour from David Moyes and his hungover squad to keep us up.
Even that isn't a given.

For me it really comes down to us beating Bournemouth now and even that might not be enough if either of Leeds or Leicester win this weekend.

That Forest win today means we're cooked if I'm being honest - they were our big insurance policy and that's now gone.

Dont forget GD, if Leeds lose by the odd goal against WHam their GD will be 2 worse than ours, if they beat Spurs 2-0 they will get above us on Goals Scored...

If Leeds lose Vs West Ham, then we only need a point Vs Bournemouth on the final day unless Leeds win on the final day by at least 3. [Edit: at least 2]

It's very significant if Leeds draw Vs a defeat because a defeat means we can survive with a draw even if Leeds win the final day.
