Not sure that's accurate and not the way I see it.
Because if Leeds lose (assuming 1-0), then a point is enough for us to stay up unless Leeds win by 3+ on the final day.
If that happens think a 2 nil will keep them up on goals scored
Last season we had to beat palace to stay upI’ll be pleasantly surprised if we stay up now. Today was the day for doing our talking and we muffed it. Credit to fight on against the odds to snatch something, but it’s touch snd go if that’ll be enough even with a final day win. Forest have removed a potential backstop. A single Leeds or Leicester win relegates us, in my view, if it arrives in the next 48 hours.
Our home form is terrible FFS.
Its not an exact science lad.
The general commentary from me has been that the teams around us are all terrible and that we've never been out of the race to be safe...and that still holds in the table I'm looking at.
It’s not them I worry about. It’s their opponents…Last season we had to beat palace to stay up
The others teams messed up meaning that in the end that result made no difference we would have stayed up regardless even if we had lost to palace cos Burnley bottled it at home to Newcastle
It’s bottle season and Leeds and Leicester are top bottlers
If they lose though you have to remember to add at least another -1.
[Edit] I thought we had +2 on them now but it's currently +1 so adjust accordingly
We should have signed Roy Essandoh off the TeletextThat’s the beauty of football. A hero emerged. Full credit to him. It is a glory game, after all.
