For those who hate Everton it'll be a beautiful end to the reign of Kenwright once the club is sold this summer and his legacy after 30 years is leading us to relegation in humiliation.

Lately we’ve been playing after a lot of these sides. I didn’t like going early this weekend. I wonder if it added to the nerves of the players.
Me neither.
At least when we play last, you know if your result was handy in comparison to the other teams.

Now we have to wait for tomorrow night to find if we go into the last game in pole position. It’s not inconceivable that all 3 of the relegation candidates pull something out of the hat on the last day with a home win.

….my take on the situation;

Leeds beat West Ham - we stay up if we beat Bournemouth and Leeds fail to beat Spurs. If we draw and Leeds lose it will be settled on GD, Leeds need worst than -24 for us to survive.

Leeds draw with West Ham - we stay up if we match or better Leeds result with Spurs. If Leeds better our result we will be relegated.

Leeds lose to West Ham - Leeds are relegated if they fail to beat Spurs. We stay up if we match or better Leeds result. If Leeds beat Spurs and we draw it will be settled on GD, Leeds need worst than -24 for us to survive.

Leicester beat Newcastle; we need to better Leicester’s result to West Ham or we are relegated. It’s very unlikely we can turn their superior GD around.

Leicester draw with Newcastle; Leicester will be relegated if they fail to beat West Ham. We stay above them if we better or match their result against West Ham.

Leicester lose to Newcastle; Leicester have to beat West Ham and we have to lose to Bournemouth for them to finish above us.

Another point to bear in mind is if Leeds do beat West Ham then Leicester are relegated if they lose to Newcastle even though they could still over take us with the above permutations.

Damn, we could be Allardyced and Moyesed in one go today.

We had no luck yesterday so lets hope we get it in spadefuls today.

Massive pressure on Leeds today either way and that will hopefully take its toll.

Between us and Leeds imo.
Leeds will win one game and lose one.
Bournemouth game,as we knew,is the one.
Those Wimbledon/Coventry memories/vibes will be returning to all.

Poetry that we start and end the season without a striker.

Our line up against Bournemouth knowing that we also need results to go in our favour alongside winning ourselves:

Pickford
Holgate-Mina-Tarkowski-Mykolenko
Gueye-Garner
Iwobi-Doucouré-McNeil
Gray

Dreading that horrible sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach and the anxiety. I can feel it already just typing this message and I'm saying to myself "one day at a time and don't be thinking so far ahead".

Got to endure West Ham v Leeds first, then Newcastle v Leicester Monday 🤢

Who would you rather be playing at home on the last day to possibly avoid relegation? Bournemouth? Tottenham? West Ham?
Preferably not the team who has given us two embarrassments already this season, but it all depends which team turns up on the day.

Tottenham on paper, should be the hardest game, but in reality they’re also the most likely to wilt under the pressure of a hostile atmosphere.

….Moyes and Allardyce are big mates. For the romantics, I can’t see Moyes wanting ‘to do us a favour’ today. Indeed, I imagine Moyes is closer to Allardyce than he is to Everton. Allardyce will be on a major bonus if he keeps Leeds up, I hope the integrity of the game is honoured today.

The post-match managers' drink at The London Stadium this evening...

David "Moyesy" Moyes - the "Moyesiah": "Well done, Sam."

"Big" Sam Allardyce: "Aye. Ta much, Moyesy. You know, it feels really good - almost as good as my evenings at Donkey Ford's chipper in Limerick, when I was bringing the game to the Irish like a latter-day saint."

Moyesy: "Aye. I'm not bitter, Sam, but today's defeat has a silver lining for me."

Big Sam: Why's that. Davey?"

Moyesy: "Well, Eh-ver-in wouldn't be in this position if they'd given me back me old job. But they went for that washed-up Italian instead. I'd even been consulted by Bill about the particular shade of blue gravel for Goodison..."

Big Sam: "Shocking stuff. They sacked me when I finished 8th! They had no problem with me necking pints of wine or ridiculing people with minor speech impediments. I could even have shown them how to get around FA rules on third-party player ownership, but no. 8th place, saved them from the drop, and they wanted Marco bloody Silva."

Moyesy: "Terrible. Eh, Sam. You've got to laugh, though. To think the Eh-ver-in fans thought I might want to do them a favour."

Big Sam: Ha, ha, ha. Garcon! Another pint of your finest Bourdeaux. Actually, make that a Bournemouth. Great wine-growing country there. Bottoms up, Davey! Well, it's not really, but you know."

*fart to fade*
