If we stay up it won't be down to what Dyche has done, it will be down to the fact that other teams have been dreadful Leeds and Leicester.

That game yesterday Wolves who have absolutely nothing to play for and we desperately get a 99th min equaliser
Next week Bournemouth at home in front of a packed Goodison, AGAIN who have nothing to play for, hand on heart who has us down for a win?

You can't underplay how bad we have been this season and if we stay up it's really because there are, quite simply, 3 worser teams than us.

Put it another way if we stay up it won't be because we've done wonders to pull ourselves out. Our record since Dyche has come in has been poor.

There has been some improvement under Dyche, there has been an improvement in recent weeks. Even so he's not covered himself in glory. Very questionable decisions. He might bemoan the lack of quality in the squad and the injuries. It's a fair observation. On the whole this has probably been Everton's worse ever season in top flight other than a relegation season. They have to take collective responsibility. It's utterly scandalous for Everton Football Club. Should not ever
be acceptable but we know why the football club accepts mediocrity it's been programmed for decades.

So far it’s gone pretty much as the form book dictated. Everyone struggling for points.

Forest have managed to keep their unbelievable home form going , leeds and Leicester have kept being poor, we have ground out some priceless draws.

And as of now managed to find the one anomaly result out of everyone down there in that Brighton demolition. Currently that’s the game that keeps us up.

Theoretical.
Barcodes need to lose last two games and Pool win theirs,as it stands, by about 9-0.
Then they are playing Soton aren't they.
The difference between them is 7 goals and Liverpool hold the goals scored tie breaker. It sounds a lot but if Newcastle lose both games it's five at the absolute most and Liverpool could comfortably put that past Southampton final day.

If Newcastle slipped up tomorrow and then lost away at Chelsea, e.g. lost one 1-0 and the other 2-0, then a 4-0 win for Liverpool would see them overtake Newcastle. When they're playing bottom of the table Southampton that isn't out of the question. Newcastle will want to have it all boxed off tomorrow, which works in our favour. If they already had third place stitched up i'd be worried they might heavily rotate. They haven't, so they will want to win tomorrow to avoid last day tension.

I'm really undecided on Dyche. In some games I've been really impressed with how we've set up and the energy and plan we have applied. Particularly the game at Brighton or the Arsenal game, and Brentford.

On the other hand, I was baffled with some of his decisions yesterday. It was obvious to most of us that a back 3 would be the better option so Mcneil could still get forward, even more so when Patterson had to go off. Instead he chose to play Keane at right back which was just bizarre.
