I got that vibe as well on that 'Foxes Talk' forums last night. It could just be that they're trying to psyche themselves up knowing that a loss tonight will more than likely seal their fate, but it's not the complete doom-and-gloom I was expecting it to be...
I would think their hope is buoyed more by the Leeds defeat and our draw rather than their belief they can actually go and win (which of course they could as upsets happen) -

The number of ways we can stay up is starting to outnumber the number of ways we can go down. Anything but a Leicester win tonight and that balance shifts even further.

Bamford and Rodrigo doubts for Leeds is good. If we get the result we want tonight then Leeds go back to being our most likely usurper so anything that weakens the likelihood of that is good.

Dyche’s losses at home have all been to top half teams. We’ve had two shockers to Fulham and Newcastle but the rest have all been strong performances (unlucky against Villa and outclassed by City). We put out anything close to the level we’ve seen from this team against Arsenal, Leeds, Brentford, Villa or even City, then we probably do the job against Bournemouth
Really good way of looking at it

Leeds is relegated now baring an absolute miracle. They would have to win big and we would have to lose, their only way in.

That means its now between us and Leicester. The match tomorrow is everything. If they lose, we sit firmly in the drivers seat just needing a draw even if they beat West Ham. They have been so bad this season that it would make total sense for them to win both of their last two matches though, wouldnt it.
They don't. What's wrong with people?

I’ll post a bigger post to explain my reasons why but if Leicester don’t win tonight and we survive relegation this season I think we can consider ourselves very fortunate. I think it’s our biggest escape ever.
Makes good film, Kenwright will be all over this.

current mood heading into this week. Hope the horse punchers do their best to mitigate our chances of going down

It's not the only benefit. If they lose then there is a 90% probability that a draw against Bournemouth is enough for us

My reference was to Goal Difference, not the outcome of the game itself.

Goal difference won’t impact us positively regarding Leicester, because they’d need to lose by 8 for us to positively be impacted by it, if that’s what it came down to.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's our worst performance in the football league / premiership combined, just on the numbers.

33 pts with one game left to play, 38 games and 3pts for a win? I mean that stinks to an unprecedented level.

Yeah ok fair enough. A slaughtering would be good for us just for the psychological effect

Not taking it for granted at all that Newcastle win tonight.

I’m also amazed at the people saying that we’re safe if they do win. Yes we’d only need a point at home to Bournemouth, but our forward line and fullbacks are decimated and we’ve lost to Wolves, Southampton and 8 others at home this season.

It ain’t over till it’s over.

Unless Bournemouth do us, which isn't exactly unimaginable with our home form and Bournemouth's desire.

At least by tonight we know where we stand.

At worse, I'm expecting a draw for Leicester, so we should go into that final game having our fate in our own hands.

B'mouth are better than us, of course, and we'll be cobbling a team together. It wont be easy at all. If Leicester lose tonight, though, it at least hands us the chance of not having to beat a better team than us, we can just draw.

Overall: I think Leeds and Leicester have some talented players but they are worse teams than us with weaker characters. If that counts for anything.

I honestly dont think Everton, Leicester or Newcastle are capable of winning another game. Although we look more hungry and are fighting more we dont look like a team that will get another win. For that reason, we just need to see Leicester draw or defeated tonight and I dont think we'll have to get another point.
