….latest relegation odds;

Leeds 1-20
Leicester 1-6
Everton 100/30

i thought we’d be shorter than that but I suppose they are factoring in a Leicester win as well as us not winning.

If all teams are 40-30-30 odds on last day, for arguments sake,

Chances of us winning: 40%
Chances of us drawing 30% while Leicester don't win 60%= 18%
Chances of us losing 30% while Leicester don't win 60% and Leeds don't win 60%= 11% or so

69% chance. And I'll give leeds a 2% joker to do spurs by 3 in scenario 2

then take back cos for us being better than these lot. 70%
Erm what??

That's Numberwang

Lads, we have to beat Bournemouth, Leeds have to beat Spurs and Leicester have to beat West Ham. We clearly have the easiest challenge ahead of us, especially when you consider anything but wins for those 2 see them down, whereas we can lose and still stay up.

Anyone losing their heads on Leicester and Leeds both guaranteeing wins haven't paid attention to us hammering Brighton and West Ham battering Leeds, you can't guarantee any result in this league. We're all playing at home and say what you want but our fans will drag them the extra mile, the others won't, they've tasted the Championship very recently, we never have. We're petrified of it, they'll be annoyed by it.

Everton are not in any reality a Championship club and our fans won't allow that to happen, the same cannot be said for the other two, that's the facts of the situation.
Hope your right mate, squeaky bum time!

I'd rather be in our position that Leeds or Leicester and If I am honest if we can't beat Bournemouth at home we deserve to go down and will show nothings changed.

I think we'll do it at least it's in our hands.

….really don’t get this ‘go for it’ view. We have a way of playing that allows us to win games without attacking creativity & quality. The loss of DCL means we have to remain circumspect rather than throw the game away. Bournemouth carry genuine threat.

i know it’s still in our hands but I can’t help feeling disappointed after last nights result.
Yesterday’s result wasn’t great nor was it terrible. I did feel that Leicester would pick up a point (or points) along the way - it is what it is.

By ‘going for it’, I mean looking at winning rather than some gung-ho approach; we need to be balanced. A draw might be enough, but it may not.

A win is the only way we can be certain of staying above both teams; even if Leicester had lost, a draw may not be enough to keep Leeds at bay.
