Would take both of those now if it meant we stayed upHaving a choice Between Holgate and Godfrey at right back is like asking do you want volleying in the bollox or a broken nose.

Yeah I know, there may well be other factors but those two played out from the back with ludicrous ease. That being said I think simms had gray with him at utd and not doucoure who is a good presser
I think fernandes pinged about 10 long balls after they walked through simms and grayWhen I recall the United game it went like the Spurs one the previous week where we played a high line and they exploited the wings, switching play -- mainly Godfrey on the left.
It certainly doesn't feel like that
Issue with this is putting one of our most creative players in a back line when we rarely score anywayWould put Iwobi there myself
This must be what 19 per cent feels like...horrible, isn't it,?It certainly doesn't feel like that
I think people will form an opinion based on what team Moyes fields at Leicester.
I could understand him fielding a strong team against Leeds as he had rotated v Brentford the week before but as a West Ham fan, I would want him to give our best players some much needed rest after a long season, get them to prepare mentally before the final a week or so later.
I hope I am wrong and he plays the same team as he did against Leeds, to keep momentum going but I expect he will already know the team he will play in Prague so will change things up and rest those starting players, giving minutes instead to Lanzini, Fornals, Cornet, Johnson, Mubama etc.
I make it 0%, 100% and 100% given that we will beat Bournemouth
i think all managers who are playing against the 3 relegation teams, will start fairly strong sides. I think it would be out of order not to, and they will prob agree.
Jesus, mate, what are you doing to yourself? The regular nightmares not enough for you?Just think, VAR probably has the opportunity to decide which club gets relegated if the odd goal would completely change the complexity of who goes down. We've seen there is no accountability, and that only the most ridiculously obvious glaring errors get met with a "we were wrong on that one, soz about that" from the FA. I would like to know who is manning the VAR controls and what affiliations they have with teams in the Premier League.
Imagine one of these incorrect calls goes against us and puts us down, a non-handball (arms against body, natural position, ball smashed at defender from 2 yards away) against our defender that leads to a penalty in the last minute that turns 1-0 into 1-1, or an offside which is never offside after we've just netted. I think in that case the FA would under no circumstances apologise as they'd surely be opening themselves up to all sorts of litigation from the club in terms of suing for lost revenue in the tens of millions of pounds.
Those models don't account for things like an opponent resting players. Some of them deal with injuries well, and some of them don't in my opinion.
There’s 10 days between the final league game and the final - I think moyes will want some more match minutes In the limbs of any players who aren’t sporting a knock.Bournemouth and Spurs will as it's another Premier League game and they'll want to finish on a high. They also have nothing else to consider after this game.
I will be amazed if Bowen, Rice, Antonio or Paqueta start for West Ham. If we were in a European final next week and had nothing to play for, we would expect, even demand, the manager to rest them all.
