Had a busy week which has been good. Tomorrow is going to be torture. Can't wait to get Sunday over and done with.

It's not like I don't function, but Everton are definitely taking up far too much head space.

Looking forward to it being dealt with one way or another. Hopefully positively, obviously. Whatever happens though I'll still be excited for the season kick off and looking forward to rationalising Ashley Barnes as a positive signing.

I definitely don't want us to go down. But if we do I won't be arsed in the can't sleep at night infiltrates my life way. I've completely compartmentalised stuff like Everton as I've got older - it's not something I'm overly arsed about outside the matchday time itself to the degree that I'll let it affect my mood to a great degree.

It'll get under my skin in the hour or two before kickoff, completely absorb me during the game and the relief / anger / sadness will linger in the immediate aftermath but whatever happens I'd be able to joke about it. I'll have to....the family is absolutely rotten with RS.

The main thing I'm worried about is that I'm off Monday.

Then you aren't the type of person I was addressing.

It beggars belief there are people even now who come across like they'll begrudge Everton staying up.

And people who say they'll support the team but not hang around to express joy at Everton getting safe is also alien to me. It sounds like a bloodless existence if you cant dispel all this tension by enjoying that particular moment if it comes.
