no deffo dave agree again lol

to me me stay up and can then address the problems and be better financially

or we go down to the abyss and will never return

so for those who “want a day out” or “aren’t assed” your …

well you get my drift….

we all love this club and every fan should want us to remain our top flight status
I definitely don't want us to go down. But if we do I won't be arsed in the can't sleep at night infiltrates my life way. I've completely compartmentalised stuff like Everton as I've got older - it's not something I'm overly arsed about outside the matchday time itself to the degree that I'll let it affect my mood to a great degree.

It'll get under my skin in the hour or two before kickoff, completely absorb me during the game and the relief / anger / sadness will linger in the immediate aftermath but whatever happens I'd be able to joke about it. I'll have to....the family is absolutely rotten with RS.

I, too, will be jubilant if we stay up. Euphoric, on a high. What I won't be, though, is celebrating these players and dissolving in a communal mass ejaculation on the Goodison turf, adding another chapter to Bill Kenwright's Good Times: The Second Coming.

I wouldn't have thought you would be either.
Then you aren't the type of person I was addressing.

It beggars belief there are people even now who come across like they'll begrudge Everton staying up.

And people who say they'll support the team but not hang around to express joy at Everton getting safe is also alien to me. It sounds like a bloodless existence if you cant dispel all this tension by enjoying that particular moment if it comes.

Everton is in this mess in large part because they have failed to beat the bottom 1/3 of the league at home. They survive with a win over another one of those teams Sunday. If they get relegated, they earned it with far too many crap performances at Goodison.

Dave, rest assured that real Evertonians will be overcome with euphoria on Sunday if we stay up - whether that is cleanly with a win or by hook or by crook. We have all been through an ordeal and Sunday, itself, will be traumatic. No Evertonian worth their salt is too cool for school on Sunday. The rational emotional response will be of the neurotic variety.

I think people have been exhausted by the last few years, coming as they did on the back of a pandemic. Anybody going on the pitch is an imbecile - but their joy will be genuine. I just want people to avoid the kind of ecstatic triumphalism that accompanied last season's escape. It sent a signal - honest as it was - that could be manipulated by this venal, nefarious chairman and his cronies.

But that said, I think the main thing now is Evertonians unite and roar our side to victory, no matter how bad it gets during the match itself. We are all going through a collective emotional crisis. I think we are all going to have to show some understanding to each other no matter what happens, because business is about to pick up in a big way over the coming 48 hours...

I sincerely hope that after the match, whether we stay up or go down. That we see the biggest demonstration against our owner chairman and board that we've ever seen. They must never be allowed to be forgiven for their downright incompetence and disgusting way especially Kenwright has let this once great club decline for his own gain and profit.
Moshiri I hope he sells, can't go until we find a buyer, Kenwright, Baxendale and Sharp have no such restrictions they all need booting in the Mersey, I hope their three seats get ripped out of the ground and chucked in the Mersey, they don't deserve them..

Once the final whistle gos it's over either way.

For me, this has been another burden the team has had to carry through the season.

That board are gone. They have been for months.

We still have to make our feelings known Dave loud and clear, there can be no excuse now the season will be over, surely you would not be against a very loud and peaceful demonstration ? All the better the TV camera's are there to show it and the disgraceful 3 empty seats, ( since January) as well.

stay up. they’re will be time to tell the board and i’m sure they know it’s on them the future

Where are you going to watch it blues?
The ground? Pub? Home?
Or are you going to avoid it like the plague? Walk? Jog? Hiding in an Inner Mongolian Cave (probably some Liv fan will still be there to deliver the bad news if we sink)
In a big brewery in Wales surrounded by RS mates on a projector, after hopefully battering then in our bi-annual school five a side game. Gonna swing from the rafters if we starch Bournemouth
