We don’t even get to play southampton again now and they’re crap.

Wow we are genuinely gone.

Bournemouth at home on final day is problem aswell if you're 3 points adrift and your GD is 5/6 worse than the team in 17th.

That's the last "winnable" home game left of the nine.

All the others are likely defeats (Man.City/Arsenal), probable defeats (Newcastle/Spurs) and then rest are perhaps draw if other team isn't feeling it on the day (Villa/Brentford/Leeds/Fulham).

Considering team needs to win six games to have any sort of chance of staying up before final day I can't see how it's going to happen.

Agree mate. I don’t think any appointment of a new manager gets us enough results to survive. Not saying we shouldn’t sack Frank but I still finding it impossible to stay up without spending about 200 million

Its just not true. Any manager with experience doesn't concede in the first 2 mins of extra time with a back 5. He is absolutely abysmal as a manager

So tonight’s televisual entertainment is sorted: break out the old ESPN Classic recordings of Match of the Day from 1984/85… and accept that like the Soviet Union, Prince, and ESPN Classic itself, things wither and die.
Indeed. I decided to be philosophical about our situation some time ago. There is no other way.

I don’t understand why the manager caused them players to be so crap that second half. The players need to take responsibility for that also.

They do. Allowing Prowse to ghost in with no-one around him from the kick off because they've all gone to press high is a player and management fault though.

Their first was practically 3 v 2 at the back because no one was told to screen the defence.
