Our attack is one of if not the worst in the league that was known before the season started, we decided to throw about 6 games away not getting players in we've got to January a chance to bring in a player or 2 and somehow we went into the biggest game of the season so far with no new forward players.

Backwards run club and its finally catching up with us. Final season at Goodison Park will be in the championship. Absolutely Criminal

Can’t keep a clean sheet.
Can’t beat the teams around us.
Can’t win our home games.
Can’t see where the next points are coming from.
Absent owner and board not supporting in the window, or making a decision on the managers future any time soon.

All equals recipe for disaster.

Sad thing is, you don’t even have to be that good to stay up, there’s a load of tosh teams in the league, but we are comfortably the worst.

I was hoping that nonsense from the board before kick off would be the lowest I’ve felt, I was wrong again.

Brentford 1-0. Doing us a favour in the event we get our own house in order.
Thing is, we need to start winning now, as any win will near enough mean nothing in terms of moving up table very soon, last thing we need is a Gap opening up and a win moves us nowhere, to think we could have been 14th with a win and have the little touch of been comfortable of knowing there were a number of teams below us

First season at Bramley Moore will be in League One

Glad it’s not “bed wetting” anymore. In all honesty the ice berg has been coming for a long time. This club is finished. We’ll be a mid table championship club for many generations to come.

I’ve watched a LOT of football over a LOT of years.

This team is getting relegated.

Everything about it is relegation. I look at Gray and think back to the Moyes era and how we'd view a player like that in those times. The type of winger who we'd have been worried about producing a moment of brilliance against us but would never have dreamed of signing because you know he's too inconsistent. He's now our best attacker. Sums it up.

Agreed. The only saving grace is that there’s 6 or 7 teams that could go.
West Ham's fixtures aren't so easy either. Check them out. They're also in the FA Cup and the European nonsense cup thingy in the run in. I'm not an Everton fan, but I wouldn't give up quite yet. Beat West Ham and if those currently on 17pts lose you could go 14th, or 15th etc depending on their results.

Leeds v Brentford?
Leicester v Brighton?
Wolves v Liverpool?
Bournemouth v Forest?

Southampton are still in 2 cups and their fixtures aren't that good either. Wolves & Bournemouth's GD is worse than Everton's too.

Dunno Moyes signed Royston Drenthe when his career was massively in decline and given the budget in those days there was always one freebie punt per transfer window. Add in those strikers around the time to back up the main CF...Velios, Papa Gueye, Stracqualursi......!!!

I did chuckle last year when people were saying Gray would replace Richi and thinking the club (and Lampard) wouldn't be that daft but here we bleedin are yet again....

We are going down this year this team has nothing
You were predicting great things a couple of months ago
