New to the forum and a long suffering Toffee living in Bexhill (East Sussex town near Hastings and Eastbourne).

This has been a disaster in the making, cr@p backroom staff, manager who isn't up to it and players who seem disinterested.

Last season we were woeful and this one we are continuing it into the next. Forest looked dead and buried and are waking up, Leicester the season before they won the league were also the same, but with us I just cannot see us changing the tide all of a sudden. We just look shot.

Anyways, am looking forward to my time on here and of course discussions not related to the team!?
I am also a Toffee living in Bexhill.
Gave up on the lost cause of Everton, they have been a mess for years and there is no end in sight.
Three years ago I posted that they were in danger of doing a Sunderland and dropping to League One. I was told that would not happen by dozens of replies. Right now it looks a distinct possibility. The current playing management and staff will not survive in The Championship.
Worse times are to come.

Indeed, it's very tough and sad times to come. I'm really upset about it after supporting this team since I was 12 years old.

Mid-table finishes with only a 4th place finish in 2005 being the only moment in the league we have had anything to celebrate, it was always going to happen, but only a matter of time when.

It's like Middlesbrough in 2008, as for many seasons before they went down, they were a comfortable mid-table team, only to suddenly find themselves in a relegation scrap, which they lost. Now it's happening to us.

We've a block of 11 games we should be targeting now to be getting points, the rest are games you'd expect to be beaten - but we may get a point from with a bit of fight and luck - like the City game.

This is still saveable, if we pick the right manager and we do a bit in the window.
