As it stands, we must be clear favourites for the drop, but at least we have a manager in charge who will be able to get us straight back up. He will have all summer to sort the mess of a squad out and the OOC players can all be jibbed off to release those wages. Not one of them is worth even keeping for the championship.

Get Branthwaite back and add some players more suitable to the club.
 
Just said in the transfer thread, This season, not only is there no team already down like Norwich (and Watford to an extent), but even more terrifying is that our direct rivals have all spent heavily in this window to strengthen, Bournemouth, Southampton and Forest all spent or still spending big.

But allowing for the world Cup, timewise his would effectively be only December-ish in a normal season, and its fairly rare to even have one team down by now...

Yer Norwich weren’t down in January but effectively they were, everyone knew they were gone. This season it is different. Hoping we aren’t too far adrift after the derby.
