I hold up my hands and say I was a pessimist, I forgot how well new manager bounces are so immediate with us, like with Joe Royle for example in which we were bottom when he took over, only to beat them lot down the road 2-0 in his first match in charge, then go onto win our last trophy to date

We're still in the bottom 3 with a tough game to come next week against the rs.

The main thing is today we've kept everyone in and around us with a terrific result but we are in no way, shape or form out of the woods. We're massively short up top with no like for like replacement for DCL

The way some results have gone for us, knowing West Ham they will somehow win (thought they are behind), Another dodgy one for us tomorrow in Forest v Leeds, last thing we need is to be 2 or so points behind the team above us, The Derby is as everyone knows a bad game for us no doubt, then we have 4 games we could pile points up in if we do as well as we can, then we go back to a few awkward games (Chelsea, Spurs, Man Utd)

Happily only looking at our own results now. Looking forward to the derby despite all the recent worry, would be an absolute blessing if we could throw Klopp into some pressure of a sacking wouldn't it?

I had written off our Prem status last month, like pretty much fully accepted it.

But with performances like todays in us, and actually getting the result against the best team in the country no less, changes things massively.

6 wins and some draws out of 17 games does not at all look beyond the Everton team that played today.

It’s crucial that DCL is protected because we don’t have anyone else in attack who can offer his size and physicality, something which is crucial to Dyche’s approach judging by his first game.
