Saints fans gagging for Poch or Benitez.

I just hope their players are as oot of touch as their fans are as neither touch the club in its current position.

Only worry is if either get Biesla or the Aussie galoot from Celtic who could get a few wins playing attacking fitba even if only a short term spell.

We need Dominic Calvert-Lewin to stay fit man.
We need you to shut up with the faux Scottish nature of your postings… and hark who’s calling someone else a galoot.

Forest are the ones we have to catch. As far as I am concerned, Bournemouth and Southampton are non-negotiable catches. We absolutely have to finish above both of those. If we don't, we are relegated. Where we have some leeway is in who else we can rope in. Leeds and Forest are the two I see as most catchable. Get above one of them and we are safe. I wouldn't rule out Wolves being dragged in either, but I expect them to survive.

Whatever about the derby, the next five will go 90% of the way to determining our fate. We could be doomed in a month or in a really good position to get out of things by the end of April after those matches. We simply have to beat Leeds and Villa. We cannot lose away at Forest. We need to go there and aim to win. Survival of the fittest now and we have no margin for error after the dithering over failing Frank.

I’ve done a super conservative prediction for the remaining fixtures and it sees us getting to 36 points

Wins v Leeds, Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth at home

Draws v Villa (h), Forest (a), Spurs (h), Palace (a), Newcastle (h), Wolves (a)

Losses v Liverpool (a), Arsenal (a) Chelsea (a), United (a) Leicester (a) Brighton (a) City (h)

That takes us to 36. If we get above this tally I think we stay in the league. Below it it’s highly doubtful.

Would be great to get a point or three against the predictor by getting something from Anfield.

Small chance Palace could be dragged in. No wins in their last 6, and their next 6 fixtures are:

They'll probably be fine but wouldn't rule it out.
Well spotted. We are in it, or on the edge of it at the moment. We’re not playing well, have no settled line up and Vieira is tinkering all the time. I can see us looking in worse trouble than we are at the moment in a months time. Fortunately our run in looks not too bad. Last 8 games;

Southampton (a)
Everton (h)
Wolves (a)
West Ham (h)
Spurs (a)
Bournemouth (h)
Fulham (a)
Forest (h)

Will be looking for a good return from those games or we will be relying on others being worse.

Could see Palace being vulnerable only if the required points tally creeps north of 40. Say Leeds win today and we beat the RS backsides my start to twitch. There are no easy games in this league at this moment

Yeah. The last place will be interesting. Can’t see Southampton or Bournemouth escaping.
