Gerrard at Leeds, Lampard at Southampton please

Saints fans gagging for Poch or Benitez.

I just hope their players are as oot of touch as their fans are as neither touch the club in its current position.

Only worry is if either get Biesla or the Aussie galoot from Celtic who could get a few wins playing attacking fitba even if only a short term spell.

We need DCL to stay fit man.

We need Dominic Calvert-Lewin to stay fit man.

I’m hoping that decent managers don’t touch any of them. Won’t be long before Bournemouth sack O’Neill as well. Let’s have a few ex players who love the club, plucky assistant coaches, or clueless foreign managers who can’t bond with the players, taking the reins.

Leeds sound like they've been knocked back by their 2 main targets with the 3rd unlikely to join due to their Spanish club demanding he pay his own release clause.

Hopefully it rumbles on before we play em although I imagine come our game they'll have appointed someone.

Forest are the ones we have to catch. As far as I am concerned, Bournemouth and Southampton are non-negotiable catches. We absolutely have to finish above both of those. If we don't, we are relegated. Where we have some leeway is in who else we can rope in. Leeds and Forest are the two I see as most catchable. Get above one of them and we are safe. I wouldn't rule out Wolves being dragged in either, but I expect them to survive.

Whatever about the derby, the next five will go 90% of the way to determining our fate. We could be doomed in a month or in a really good position to get out of things by the end of April after those matches. We simply have to beat Leeds and Villa. We cannot lose away at Forest. We need to go there and aim to win. Survival of the fittest now and we have no margin for error after the dithering over failing Frank.

Not shocking. Why would anybody worth their salt come in these circumstances. We were lucky to get Dyche
