If we don’t sign at least one goal scorer bare minimum this week, I’d say we’re as good as down.

That’s not panic or bedwetting, it’s a realistic view based on our awful season last year and now being even more impotent as a squad.

We can’t score, and the longer that goes on with the frustration setting in, any team morale will be shot by the autumn and we’ll be getting drubbed every week ?
I don't think that'll happen, I think these additional leaders at the back will stop that sort of collapse mentality from happening. But I do think we'll continue losing games as we have done the first ones - by one goal here and there because we won't score

The worry is we’ve carried on the issue we had ever since Lampard took over, the lack of goals but now we’ve lost one of our key attacking players. The bigger issue is those around us at the end of last season are scoring freely and Fulham are on fire. However if we can get a striker in, as Newcastle showed, doesn’t matter how bad your start is, as long as we kick on then you can turn it round.

Leeds are absolutely miles ahead of us at the moment.

They've signed really well from Bundesliga, Tyler Adams been brilliant today.

Bielsa had taken them as far as he could so they sacked him just about in time and Marsch is talented manager who kept them up and now will safely guide them to mid table.

Just showing Chelsea at home on first day is not a game that should've been written off but that's what happens when you don't have a proper CF.

Will say it again. Us and Bournemouth will be too far gone by January.

We are so much worse than most of our fans seem to think.

Lost at home to a poor Chelsea side (when we normally get points off them at home). Lost to a grossly underperfoming Villa side and limped to a late draw against a newly promoted Forest side who have barely played together yet.

We are bang in trouble.

Can't believe the amount of people who confidently said Leeds would go down or worse than us they got rid of 2 better players but actually strengthened their squad properly, take notes Everton you old dumb farts

Even before today, the predictions about Leeds were so weird. People just ignored the fact they brought in a number of decent players and more importantly have a proper manager in charge who knew what he was doing.

It's exactly how to run a club who are looking to consolidate. Get top dollar for 1 or 2 quality players, reinvest in well scouted players.

Since Lampard we have had that since Carlo left along with James, Sig, Digne...

In all honesty expected us to be on 4/5 points by now. My backside isn't twitching should have been 3 points yesterday. A point is better nothing and just gets us off the ground. Could be worse could be utd or west ham. Yes they have better players but I bet they aren't bed wetting so much. Long season ahead guys n girls no one said it would be plain sailing

Agree about the first 3 games but let's see who comes in next week. We just need more goal threat.

I am so glad that not only I think this, anyone who thinks their are 3 teams worse than us are deluded, flares and banging on the side of the coach as it pulls into Goodison is not going to help us this time.

Over to you Moshiri & Kenwright
