Dom scored a goal. Myko got an assist. McNeil and Iwobi linked up for a brilliant goal.

Basically it was like the weirdest hallucinogenic trip you’ve ever had.
Gonna weep in July when I’m reading people on here saying Simms will lead us back to promotion because he has scored a total of three goals in the Championship

IF we win them..... Its not the result I`m arsed about it is the complete lack of effort, desire, passion and fight. Call it what you want but Dyche is finished already if this is what our team is going to be showing.... that wasnt a Dyche performance that was Lampard!
But effort, desire passion and fight don't make you good footballers and the confidence just drains away when every other pass gives the ball away and it comes back to you. When you know that first goal conceded means you've probably lost the game.

Especially against a team who are in a false position - they're way better than where they are and how they've been performing recently.

No physical presence beyond a League One striker up front, non existent passing ability throughout the team and two slow full backs meaning the wingers have to defend most of the time.

We need to just grind out 1-0 wins in games against teams worse than Liverpool. We did it for years under Moyes so it's possible.

I said that was an Everton team with determination.... miles away from what we saw tonight, it was like a Monday night game was an inconvenience for them!
So, 2 games 1 win.

If we do that for the rest of the season - and against worse teams - we stay up.

There are people on here who get their jollies from depressing every Evertonian who believes we can do make this fight back happen. Why do you want to be one of them?

Let's have this derby summed up shall we: an Everton team capable of doing a lot better shat the bed and we lost easily enough.

Plus ca change.

Now it's Leeds at Goodison....

Worst game for dyche to have second up tbf.

Everyone here knows what we are as a team and everyone knows our main weaknesses. It’s been clear all season and last season.

. Poor full backs can’t get up the pitch
. Poor attackers
. No attacking depth off the bench.

That’s the cards dyche has been dealt with, there will be more games like this for the rest of the season. The only way we survive is if we turn goodison into a pit again for these massive home games coming up. Two wins in a row now and things look positive again.

Then kick the entire board out in the summer.

I still believe the team we are most likely to catch are Forest but a six point headstart with a water pistol attack doesn’t bode well.

We've exceeded expectations by beating Arsenal. Losing to them away is par. The trouble is we don't have goals in the team. It's that simple really. We've wasted money on crap and sold our only two goalscorers from last season. That's a recipe for disaster and Dyche has a monumental task on his hands.

We may bludgeon our way to safety with a few 1-0s and draws, but im doubtful it'll be enough.

Once this season is over, I just hope we didn't ruin our chance of survival by not sacking FL before the WC and buying a striker. Because I fear that's what will have done it for us this season.

Tonight won’t, keep us up or send us down, it highlighted the gap though, they have more quality and depth. It’s depressing how little we have creatively and in terms of fire power. Absolutely no nous to get in and around Simms for second balls and support the kid.

Whats intolerable is they wanted it more then us.

Rockets need to be fired this week, that level of lack of fight will send us down.
