Oh stop being so sensible.
We are just not good enough in so many positions
Not enough quality
Not enough consistency
Not enough effort generally
Not enough skill
Not enough running
Not enough goal scorers
Not enough goal makers
But overall not enough to compete with most teams in the Prem

Let's be honest
You have to judge us against the crap around us not the resources of top teams.

Only that one in bold is relevant.

Here we go, another window jumper who accepts the Arsenal result but starts whingeing at a defeat to Liverpool at Anfield...because that NEVER happens.
No Dave, our fate was sealed when our DoF decided that an unfit striker was our route to survival.

Please don’t let one performance against Arsenal sway your from the real truths: this team has no goals, creativity, movement or threat

I am judging us against the crap around us and that is what it's based on
We have lost a lot of games against the crap around us recently despite the Arsenal result
That's what worry's me

Imagine someone who hasn’t been following us for 18 months.

‘So how is James Rodriguez getting on’?
- Ah we gave him away.
‘Wow. Well at least you have Richarlison’
- Nah, sold him.
‘Gordon must have really stepped up then?’
- Yeah looked promising but we sold him too.
‘You must have spent big on forwards then?’
- We brought in Neil Maupay and Dwight McNeil. Oh and Andros Townsend.

‘Jesus Christ. At least you still have Gylfi’
- Erm..

Would certainly have taken 3 points fron Dyche's first 2 games if offered that when he was appointed. It's better than 2 draws...

Now the real test starts with 2 upcoming home games. 4 points from those and I might start to believe again, despite our board doing their level best to get us relegated.

The club putting us through all this again, and probably even worse to come, it’s evil.
The custodians of the club in that boardroom dont give a toss. Its us the supporters who are going through it all. The board are the enemy. They are the biggest threat to the club. But we dont need them. Dont forget that. I hope they never set foot in Goodison again and i hope their time is short.

Perspective needed.

Once the dust settles, we’ve took 3 points from games against the lead leaders and on the loca derby, away.

The game doesn’t define the season, but next week May.
Everyone would have probably been over the moon with two draws…three points v arsenal were massive. Get three on Saturday again and we have a great platform.

Kenwright sees that he is more welcome at Anfield says it all.

Will be known as the man who oversaw Everton getting relegated. A stain on the club.

I know what you mean. I just hope our whole fanbase is what gets remembered as the supporters who saved their club again from their awful chairman and board of directors. We all have our own moments of doubt. Just refuse to be beaten by them. There is nothing else we can do.

A win v Leeds would be massive given the games the teams around us have........

Next few games will tell us all we need to know. If we don’t come away with a good points haul then I don’t fancy our chances of getting out of trouble.
