Look at the table that night and the fixtures that were up next.

I thought we were down then. But I think we're also down now with a greater chance of this being confirmed earlier in the season. I just can't see three worse teams atm.

It's such a shame because I've seen enough from the Dyche era to make me think that if we had a fit Richarldison or DCL ( 2020/21 vintage) we would be comfortable.

What pisses me off the most about this striker thing is that the striker and winger we bought are the complete opposites in terms of what they offer each other. McNeil is the type of player that thrives with a DCL type striker that will hover around the 6 yard box and get you poacher goals. Maupay is the the type of player that thrives with a Gray type winger who is quick and plays in an inverted role running onto balls and scoring more/the same as your strikers. The problem is that we haven't bought another winger/striker who complement each of them and if we could only buy two, which we have, they should have complemented each other. We will be relegated because of it.

And you were wrong. Along with most others . We aren't down until it's confirmed . 39 points to play for . We probably need about 15 or 16 I would think. Tough but we still can.

Because we are one win off safety and we have won 2 games recently, yes there is a big possibility that we will be relegated but saying there is no justification for saying we can stay up is as bad as saying we are definitely not getting relegated...

Is it because the team have spent most of the season outside the bottom 3 despite the points return you mention?
