i can’t stand it when people say “cry asses”
coz we care? coz we don’t want us to go?

it’s love and passion as equal as a supporter
It's not though, matty you were on here with complete doom and gloom since January last year until we were safe, and you have been doing it most of this season as well.
As I said, I get pessimism, but this ain't being pessimistic, it's crying every single time something goes against us like the seasons over, and it does us no good.
It makes us look like 13 year olds tbh.
I'm not saying anyone's a better supporter but Jesus I'm sick of grown adults roll over and give up every single time.

Well said that man .

Staying away ? You do realise that people feeling pessimistic on an internet football forum won't have the slightest bearing whatsoever on the team's performance in the remaining games.
So you don't think any on here are match going fans?
You think the constant giving up is positive or negative for us as a fanbase?
Do you think the team would do better with the fans behind them and helping them believe they can win every game, or you think we would do as well with the fans all giving up and telling the team we are down with over a third of the season to go?

Just checked the next six matches of ourselves, Southampton, West Ham, Bouremouth, Wolves & Leicester City - the current bottom six teams. I completed an unbiased forecast of the next 6 games for all six clubs and have us rock bottom on 17 points, Wolves next on 19 points, Bournemouth on 20 points, Leicester on 21 points, West Ham on 22 points & Southampton on 27 points. It's looking bleak............

No, I have Southampton winning 3 matches & drawing three matches of their next 6 matches. Check their next 6 matches, a lot easier compared to our next six.

You asked, Which game did you get our 2 points from?
ANSWER: Liverpool (A) & Aston Villa(H)

Write off Bournemouth, Southampton & Leeds at your peril, they sre all better teams than us.

It's the "we're done" comments when something goes against us that annoy me most. Sounds like an Americanism for a start and they're always annoying enough to read, especially in a football context.

If we were cut adrift I could understand it but there are arguably 8 other teams in the battle with us who are also finding wins extremely difficult on a regular basis. And we are 1 point behind 17th with 13 games to play.

At the game - yes the team needs the fans getting behind them and helping them.

In between games - it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference. People express their opinions, either optimistic or pessimistic, which is the reason these discussion forums exist. It would be weird if everyone thought the same.

Bournemouth couldn’t hold a 2-0 lead against the league leaders and have another bending over job for their RS masters next weekend, Southampton are hit and miss and Leeds have won 1 league game since November

I don't believe that Dyche will let any individuals in the team to down tools so I expect us to find the points we need over the next 13 games - might well get three tomorrow.

I get both sides of your point, but this isn't really a new thing is it, its not like a sudden blip and everyone's thrown there toys out the pram !!!
This has been building up for the last 30yrs ( other then a few positive seasons under Moyes )
it would gradually eat away at the most positive of supporters of any club...

All that really matters tho is that whatever people think it all gets laid to rest for 90 odd mins of football tomorrow.
And every person is 100% behind the team, willing that ball into the net...
