But same outcome.

They put up a great fight - we didn't. But they still collapsed. The heartbreak could really hurt them. Ours are so apathetic that a 4-0 hiding will be water off a duck's back. The Forest game will tell a tale.

Thats a very blue tinted specs view. Some might say blind.
Can we keep it simple. Bournemouth went there and put up a fight. We went there and stunk the place out. I think what it did is put to bed this bizare view that some seemed to have that bournemouth and southampton had gone.
Two very different manager talks. I can imagine bournemouth manager saying really great effort lads. If we fight like that rest of the season we might get our rewards.
Was dyche supposed to just say..dont worry lads. Water off a ducks back that you caved in and collapsed.

Strange view mate. Me personally i think its a concern. Then again i see such a toothless side i think we are gone. Hope im wrong.

Only losing 4-0 to top of the league is probably seen as impressive as a home drubbing of our own of some trailer trash team in the league. It might be years however before we are able to score 4 goals in a game. They'll go into training the next day absolutely bouncing and really enjoying their games of piggy in the middle.

scoring after 9 seconds helps you put up a better fight. Something to hold onto. Goals change games

Getting beat in the 97th minute after putting up a great fight may be a bigger body blow than getting beat 4-0.

At the end of the day it’s same outcome- no points.

We need at least 4 points from the next 2 games and Forest is a must not lose

It's not though, matty you were on here with complete doom and gloom since January last year until we were safe, and you have been doing it most of this season as well.
As I said, I get pessimism, but this ain't being pessimistic, it's crying every single time something goes against us like the seasons over, and it does us no good.
It makes us look like 13 year olds tbh.
I'm not saying anyone's a better supporter but Jesus I'm sick of grown adults roll over and give up every single time.

it makes “us” well how is it you if your not saying it? - we can all say what we want and react how we want we love the club and that’s the bottom line

It's so boring. A player cannot make one mistake without being branded "the worst they've seen" or "not good enough"

Going to be tight, but i think we will just fail and be relegated with 37 points.

We prolonged with Lampard for too long. Them defeats at Goodison to Wolves and Southampton will be the reason.
For me personally the idiocy of not buying any strikers over 2 windows and relying on a 'weetabix man' striker will be the main reason.

We can’t lose today, we need a point as a bare minimum. Huge game for us. Sick to death of us just seeing an away game as an “expected defeat.” Get a result today please.

….probably right but never underestimate the force of the Toffees. There’s a reason we’ve played more top flight games than any other club. Our fans will be there in force like they always are.
We also have the second most defeats in Premier League history, West Ham having only one more than us, lose today and we go joint top with 394. Many here cling on to historical relevance as we become ever more irrelevant in English club football, they remind me of the 'Brexiteers' harping on about Empire. The world has changed, and the club is quickly becoming a spent force, relegation to the Championship could see it out in the wilderness for years or even decades. This is serious.

COYB!

John.
