This.
Next 3 games; Man City h
Brighton a
Arsenal a
Admittedly after that it looks better but by April, we will be right in it.
Yes the problem you have is the state of the confidence after those 3 games. Fixtures against teams in the bottom 8 will get increasingly tougher as the season draws to a close too. Think you will be ok though. We are not getting to 27 points anytime soon

I think if we avoid a proper carting in all of them confidence will be ok. Two of them are free hits anyway. Your second point is spot on. After the three mentioned we have to play 8 teams that are currently below us;
Home
Leicester
Everton
West Ham
Bournemouth
Forest

Away
Leeds
Southampton
Wolves

The points will have to come from these 8 games.

Thats a very blue tinted specs view. Some might say blind.
Can we keep it simple. Bournemouth went there and put up a fight. We went there and stunk the place out. I think what it did is put to bed this bizare view that some seemed to have that bournemouth and southampton had gone.
Two very different manager talks. I can imagine bournemouth manager saying really great effort lads. If we fight like that rest of the season we might get our rewards.
Was dyche supposed to just say..dont worry lads. Water off a ducks back that you caved in and collapsed.

Strange view mate. Me personally i think its a concern. Then again i see such a toothless side i think we are gone. Hope im wrong.
Do you know we beat Arsenal in February or have you erased it from your memory? Would you rather we "put up a fight" in both games Vs Arsenal and lost them both?

We also recently beat a relegation rival in Leeds.

You're calling it bizarre that some have said Southampton and Bournemouth had "gone" then in the same post saying you think we're gone when we're ahead of both of them still..

That arsenal game doesn't count for many as it was a 'new manager bounce', very odd

Already answered you that beating Arsenal at Goodison in dyche first game is a different set of character to playing them away.
Stop taking it personally that we're gutless away from home..

If you dont get the result a performance can still carry momentum into following games. If you have to lose id rather go down scrapping than rolling over. The latter is far more damaging for morale.
We have a very different point of view on this. Which is fair enough.
Exactly. Also on Bournemouth, they at least showed the ambition to invest heavily in January and give it a go.

They bought two wingers for £20m+ who seem to have injected a bit of life into them. It galvanises the rest of the squad too, whereas our lads will be looking round wondering who is capable of pulling them out of the mire.

Southampton, similarly, bought a bunch of lads in the summer who could well become top, top players. It was a risky strategy but they are all young lads who will only get better with time.

I can understand the concern with Palace given your recent form but can certainly see you getting at least 10 points from the fixtures which would probably be enough. You’ll get more though I imagine.

Not to mention the 6 point gap at present which when you’ve only won 5 all season is a rather large gap!

Palace may be struggling but right now those
Palace have taken 5 points in 9 games in 2023 and are 6 points away from the bottom 3, with 13 games to play. They are definitely not safe from relegation.
Whilst I wouldn't count Palace out of the relegation fight those 6 points they have on the bottom 3 are fckin massive right now.
